Very cosy and quite cool even in the summer! The staff were really helpful with helping sort out Yamato Luggage Delivery for us 🙏 There are also 3 bikes you can use for 2 hours each day which provided the perfect way to explore Jozankei. The onsen and sauna was also a highlight. The main star was the food, breakfast was a homey Japanese curry which was very filling, and the dinner was paid jbbq which was one of the best bbq beef meals I’ve had! It is quite pricy but the quality of meat you get makes it really worth it. The soup is also really nice!

There are quite a lot of cafes near this hotel, but only a handful of lunch and dinner restaurants which sometimes were closed for no reason, so if you don’t opt for the hotel dinner your only remaining option would be instant food from the konbini near by.

Onsen in the mountains whilst it was snowing was amazing, breakfast curry and welcome drink included. Yakiniku dinner was good but was an additional cost, and there aren't too many other options in town other than a conbini dinner.

I requested the shuttle bus from Sapporo in advance but I didn't hear anything back until my check-in day, and by then the shuttle bus was fully booked. It was disappointing having to pay extra for a crowded return bus when they weren't able to accomodate. Perhaps increase the bus trips during peak season.

Lovely onsen hotel! We stayed in their cabins with private onsen which was very cosy but modern and newly built. The staff were friendly and used google translate to help with the language barrier. The dinner was a tasty yakiniku course menu with different appertizers and different cuts of meat. They have a huge selection of sake(lots of rare premium brands) and drinks. They also have a sake room where you can buy bottles to bring home aswell.

We had problems were the water to the onsen didn't get very hot.

Serene & affordably priced stay in wonderful little hot springs town. Excellent breakfast, wonderful onsen. Loved the sake bar on site & private nooks to read, sip sake, etc. Great location to explore the little bakeries & area around the hotel. Staff were excellent (spoke no english but this is normal). Loved the welcome drinks and the main room with board games. Very social yet tranquil and considerate space. Room was very warm, perhaps a little small but thats fine. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

Staff are very friendly & explained everything very well, Jap cuisine breakfast is delicious, free flow of drinks & salad, when we left the hotel using hotel bus, the receptionist lady followed us to the bus, bow down and give us a hand wave with smiling face, what an amazing hospitality! very personal touch :)

Location is bit deep inside, if u take public bus, you need to walk abit, but the scenery surrounded is very nice with nature & river stream

Dinner and breakfast are all good. The receptionist was really nice and will try to explain everything to me even if I don't speak Japanese. Free shuttle bus taking you to the hotel (around 5pm) and bring you back (around 1pm). You have to book the shuttle bus by replying their email or call them directly before the date of your booking.

The Onsen is real and nice, but the decoration and facility of the Onsen were not surprising but just like a normal Onsen. But no harm to the experience.

We really liked the welcome sake drink, the games provided in the lobby and the dinner was delicious! The room was very comfortable and the onsen was lovely as well. I would recommend this place to friends for sure.

It was a little bit of a walk to the "town center" but it's not a huge deal. I also have tattoos so it wasn't ideal that I had to cover them with a sticker.

Lovely and modern onsen hotel. Clean and comfortable bed. The cottage comes with a private onsen and sauna. Excellent dinner with a good spread of appetizers and well-cut meat!

Breakfast is a bit disappointing; it will probably be good to have some fruit. Nevertheless, it's tasty, wholesome, and well-cooked.

Love the relaxing atmosphere and the facilities where you can kick back. The Onsen was fantastic and exceptional. The sauna was quite spacious and great way to end the bathing experience.

That i only booked 2 nights, need 3 nights to really enjoy the area.

The hotel is cute and stylish, very clean! There is space in the lobby/lounge area to relax and lay down in. Breakfast is delicious

Dinner was a little confusing...! There were many frogs croaking throughout the night that were a bit loud on the backside of the building. I slept well with earplugs.
