Felbrigg Lodge is situated in the heart of Norfolk, surrounded by forest; an idyllic hideaway to rediscover your zen! The lodges are super and setup with peace and privacy in mind whilst being close enough to the main house where the restaurant is. This is not your usual-style of Hotel; instead almost like a 'colony' getaway with lots of beautiful forest lodges hidden away. The staff and owners (Dee-Dee and Philip) were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They work HARD! Breakfast choices were great, catering for all appetites. I had the full Felbrigg cooked breakfast which was perfect. My good lady enjoyed the fruity alternatives and the porridge. Dogs are mostly welcome; we stayed in the Family lodge (Hedgehog lodge) where our dog was allowed. She loved the surroundings. Dense woodlands! Lodges are very comfortable with private hot tubs and wood burners for the colder months. Small kitchen with fridge-freezer and microwave, washing machine etc. Beautiful heavy curtains, traditional furniture. Lovely. Free WIFI is available and is hit and miss if there are lots of visitors, but overall we managed. Sky TV available on all the TVs.

There are some areas that look a little tired, but in the forest, one can expect that the forest envelopes all in its surroundings. It is not really something we did not like, but for those that like a lesser cob-web experience, may quiver slightly lol. Cobwebs are a thing externally. Phillip and Dee-Dee might want to have a check of kitchen-wares generally, as we could not find any plates when we were snacking in the evenings. Just a minor point!

Location was great with a less than 10 minute drive to Cromer. The lodge was great.Very quiet, secluded and we never heard any noise from next door. Cleanliness was fantastic. Large selection of tea/coffee, blu ray player, satellite box, smart tv and a small fridge. This combined with a good selection of glasses meant that rainy weather wasn't a problem.The lodge has been recently decorated and was bright. The pool and hot tub were great and were available for private 1 hour slots apart from the 4 til 6 free swim. Food was really good for breakfast with a great choice. We booked in for dinner one evening and cannot recommend it enough( how often do you get offered sorbet between courses). We will be returning.

Just a little pricey but with everything considered not a problem

Had a lovely stay in the Sycamore Suite. Room was very spacious with a large bathroom and all the amenities you could require. Great views out to the woodland from either of the large second floor windows. Secluded setting in peaceful surroundings, but within walking distance of Felbrigg Hall and a short drive to pubs or the coast. Swimming pool and hot tub were also great and was so nice to have a private hour to ourselves. Also had a brilliant three course breakfast in the morning from the many choices. Wanted for nothing, but got the impression if we did, our requests would have been met.

My wife and I stayed in the Sycamore Lodge for one night as we had a wedding in Norfolk. It’s a beautiful place in amongst the trees - like a Center Parcs type forest retreat. Phil greeted us on arrival and showed us to our room. He was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and had a nice big bathroom and had everything we needed. I used the swimming pool which is a very nice bonus. Heated and pretty big! You can book an hour slot so you have the pool to yourself. Phil even let my wife borrow his wife’s hairbrush as my wife realised she had left it at home - which was so kind. It was a lovely stay. Would go back again and stay for a long weekend.

I had a wonderful stay at Felbrigg Lodge! It is a very special place with an extremely calm and tranquil energy that you feel as soon as you drive in. My room was great and had everything I needed. I didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely. Phil and DeeDee are very friendly and perfect hosts. Breakfast was delicious and the conservatory setting made it even better (I saw a deer while I was eating!). Thank you very much - I hope to come back soon!

Absolutely loved the facilities. The hot tub was great and the time slots for individual use of the pool. It was so quiet and peaceful there, you could really relax. The bed was very comfortable and a lovely bath.

The room was a little tired in decor with two blankets, one on the bed and one over the sofa. Both had seen better days. Most concerning was the front door which was so difficult to open and made us worry about a fire risk. Staff are very good so I am sure it will be sorted.

The perfect getaway place where you can really relax. Hot tub with the room a bonus. Breakfast service and quality were exceptional. Philip and Tristan are friendly and helpful. The private pool slots are great ... lots of space and so quiet yet a few minutes drive from local beaches.

Nothing... surprised how positively different it is from other hotels, but we liked it all

Both myself and partner stayed for just the one night. Everything was just how we expected it would be. Check in was very easy. Dee Dee greeted us at the car. We were shown around the Walnut Suite and had the evening dinner menu setup explained to us. A great selection of local food on offer. The private hot tub was a great addition. Evening dinner service was served quickly due to the one sitting setup.

Slightly more privacy for the hot tub at Walnut suite would be good. Overlooked by the next suite and possibly from the outside seating area if you were using the tub during daylight hours. This is just a minor negative.

Loved the pool area, especially when you hire it out privately for an hour - definitely worth it! The hot tub was also a great addition while staying here. The room was clean and quirky, with nice views overlooking the gardens. The breakfast was a lovely finish to our experience there. Lovely staff and beautiful food all freshly prepared.

Excellent location in the gorgeous Felbrigg Woods, which is great for walks. The hotel was lovely and accommodated our requests. Pet friendly. Breakfast was great. Staff were helpful in making recommendations for local restaurants.
