This small hotel, right in the Center of Munich is your perfect location if you are looking for modern ambience, combined with the feeling of being right at home. The hotel lounge offers a breathtaking view across the famous Marienplatz in the heart of the Center of Munich. The best view you can have at the world famous Glockenspiel. The whole staff of the hotel are super friendly and forthcoming. Our room with church views was large, very stylish and offered everything we could have wished for. The mattress was one of the most comfortable we ever had in a hotel. We loved everything about this little gem of a hotel.

Gorgeous suite directly overlooking Marienplatz and in front of the clock and large Christmas tree. This hotel is small, boutique and very well thought out proving you don’t need to be a huge complex to be as good as large 5 star chains. Our room is huge containing a full wall of glass windows, large king size bed, separate doonas (which for me has been an absolute revelation this trip!). A large casual seating area completed the room, with full desk for those who need to do some work splitting the room nicely, and finally one of the largest, most attractive bathrooms we’ve encountered on this trip. The room is quiet and did I meantime, directly over the Christmas markets? Of course I did! This is the last night of our 3 1/2 week Christmas trip, coming all the way from Melbourne Australia and yes it’s more than we would ordinarily pay (on conversion) but we are very happy with this property. Location to Old Town Munich is obviously perfect. There are subway entrances all around, but Munich is easy to walk. It was a little tricky to find the entrance as the hotel is part of what appears an ordinary building. The access door is a very unassuming glass door but once you are inside the elevator and reach level 5, an automatic glass door swings open to invite you into a beautifully presented property. There is a bar, free goodies placed out for guests, a welcome drink, complimentary mini bar and snacks in the room. Being Christmas, we also received a lovely little box of 4 x shortbreads which were devoured. A large library / seating area as well as a couple more intimate seating areas. Wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy the property, and that we had another day or two. Will definitely come back to Beyond the next time we are in Munich.

Great service and attitude from the staff, they always offer free coffee and snacks and are always happy to help. The hotel goes about and "beyond" to make sure your stay is nice. The bed is one of the best we slept on, and everything in the room is top notch. Breakfast is delicious

Balcony door was broken. The chef was not available the day we checked in, so we couldn't order any meals. I would have liked more advanced technology in the room. A Bluetooth speaker would've been nice also (expectation is high because the rates are high as well)

There are no doors to the shower, the floors in the shower are very slippery. There are two thin bath towels in the room and if you want to take a second shower, you dry yourself with a wet towel. The day before, I asked to check in not at 15:00, since we were leaving at 19-30, but they gave me a room only at 14-40, although check out is at 12 o'clock.

The location is as good as it gets, right next to the Munich Glockenspiel - we had a great vantage point for the Corpus Christi service from the hotel. The staff were friendly and professional. The hotel has an unusual design, consisting of 19 rooms across two floors, with the rooms on our floor opening onto the lounge/breakfast room. There is an exception library. Our room was compact but comfortable with superb sound proofing.

Location was great. Breakfast/lounge area opens up to the main square and can see the Clock show from there. Balcony was nice, connected to another room's balcony with some dividing plants. View of the church and old town hall.

The hotel is about 100 meters away from drivable area unless you are in a taxi during times when taxi can drive next to hotel. We had to park in a garage and drag all of our luggage to hotel.

We stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of our 5-week trip, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our journey. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The central location made it easy to explore Munich’s streets. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Our room was spacious, and the bathroom facilities were excellent. We particularly enjoyed unwinding in the lounge area with a glass of wine after a day of exploring.

for me was a great surprise, the staff was the best than a gust can expect from all point of view. The location: doesn't exist better: in front of the Rathaus where you can see the whole square day and nights for relax or have the breakfast over there few meters to the main street shopping area, and also the most beautiful historical monuments in Munich. Lot of best restaurants in the city close to hotel. See the unbillable fireworks on the new year 360 degree....

The service of all the staff in the hotel is very friendly. Its a small boutique hotel and its very personal. An extra shoutout to Sara for being a darling to making sure to book us dinner places in munich. Making great recommendations to nearby good restaurant. We had a wonderful time in the hotel and loved the location of the place too.

The hotel room would be better with windows. It had small windows like attic seal windows. The shower area did not have any door and it was open concept kind of shower. It definitely was a tat too cold.

We had such a great stay. The staff is amazing (especially Jackie) and the amenities were fabulous. Perfect location and a great way to end each night. Jackie helped us with dinner reservations and places to explore. Would highly recommend Beyond by Geisel.

Breakfast was a bit over priced and one blind in our room needed repair.
