5 Stars — A Truly Exceptional Stay at the San Ramon Marriott! We recently stayed at the Marriott in San Ramon, CA while in town for medical treatment, and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. When we arrived, we were blown away to find out that the manager had upgraded us to the Presidential Suite! Talk about feeling like royalty! The suite was absolutely stunning — gigantic, beautifully furnished, and full of thoughtful touches. We had a full kitchen, a spacious living room, a private balcony with a lovely view, a luxurious bathtub, a second bathroom (because sometimes you just need options!), and more room than we knew what to do with. Every detail felt elegant and welcoming. As if that wasn’t enough to make us feel special, they had left a gorgeous gift basket, a sweet personalized note, and fresh flowers waiting for me in the room. It truly touched my heart, especially given the emotional reason for our visit. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, cared for, and celebrated during a time when we truly needed it most. I honestly cannot say enough great things about this hotel, the incredible service, and the genuine kindness we experienced. If you’re staying in the San Ramon area — whether for business, pleasure, or something more personal — this Marriott is where you want to be. It was a perfect setup for a convention. Easy to get to my car and easy to get around. Room was nice, clean and spacious.

The location. I’m not into shopping at a mall or walking in commercial areas. I rarely left the hotel because there was nothing cultural to do nearby but that was okay because o spent all my time in the convention rooms anyway. I felt sorry for the folks who thought they were going to have a Bay Area experience.

My family booked two rooms at the hotel. They were connected, allowing us to stay in touch all the time. The staff was always very attentive and friendly. The location was convenient for our points of interest. I had the opportunity to use the gym, which, although small, had the necessary equipment. We tried the breakfast, and what we ordered was well-prepared.

It's a pet-friendly hotel, which may be an inconvenience for those who don't like this.

I felt safe as a solo traveler. It is clean, modern, spacious, efficient. Location is great with stores and outside food options nearby.

Decent experience and I would stay here again. I kind of felt like the staff was in a hurry. When I called the front desk about ice because the machine was broken on my floor (4th floor) I was told I could come down to the first floor. I was exhausted and it wasn’t worth it.

I studied more than 3 weeks more than 10 times room key not working why because one of staff expire it where I did reservation by booking when I complained say sorry booking disappeared from system but now it’s okay so many times did it with me and my daughter . Thx

it’s was completely comfortable and and very helpful when I got there my booking did not appear on the system and they offered me a walk in check in though their own website! and I’m so thankful coz I tried calling booking.com to verify my booking but no answer at all! very stressful and miserable 😩

Wow. What a busy hotel! Probably because it is the only decent hotel in the area... it was a Mariott, so met that bar.

Housekeeping was slow - they need more help.

The front desk associate Christian was excellent. Facility was amazing! Total 5 star feeling.

May be breakfast should be included in the hotel price.

Staff is very friendly and always smells so fresh when you walk in. The rooms are clean and showers are very nice. I would recommend this hotel, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
