Tremendous location in one of Cambridge's most affluent colleges. Views of a large area of grass and trees from my room. Fantastic buffet cooked breakfast in the historic main hall. Opportunity to wander round the other quads of the college including the historic cloisters and chapel. Also opportunity to see the landscaped gardens and various sculptures in the college. Very good security within the college grounds. The bustling streets of central Cambridge as well as the tranquil riverside were very close. Extremely quiet room. Shared bathroom facilities but all kept incredibly clean and there was always a unit available for use - i.e. no queuing needed! Very helpful and friendly staff.
Everything was excellent

Lots to like about our stay here: the room is modern and very clean; location in Cambridge is excellent plus the added bonus of access to Jesus college grounds; buffet breakfast was good with seating at communal tables and a wonderful view of one of the courts. The receptionist working on Sunday evening was particularly helpful and pleasant.
The room lacked air conditioning which is surprising since this 'hotel' block was built recently. Our room was facing the road which meant lots of road noise when we opened the windows. Only got a few hours sleep each night due to the heat and sound of traffic. Very limited wardrobe space so not suitable for long stays. Improvements - somewhere to put cases and a coat hook to put a wet coat on would be helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located into the historic centre of Cambridge therefore you can avoid using anything else but your feet to visit the city and reach any interesting point, anyways a parking place is very close in case you got here driving your car. The hotel facilities are inside the historic Jesus College, the building is modern and well designed and is perfectly integrated with the ancient college's estate. Rooms are quite ample with a usable balcony overlooking gardens of another college, the road below is not too noisy thanks to the fact it's in an area where traffic is limited. Breakfast is served in one of the college's refectories adorned with the portraits of former deans, or at least I believe they were ;). While going to the refectory one can admire the college's gardens and greens as well as other areas. The served breakfast is rich and varied therefore you can have a proper english breakfast eating as much cholesterol as you love (just joking) or opt for something lighter and healthier like fresh fruits, yoghourt and a cup of tea. Anyone of the staff we talked with was kind an gentle and ready to answer our questions. Travelling as parents with a 3yo baby we found this hotel really welcoming and well suited. PS I see Booking.com flags us as Dutch but we are Italian.

The bed was great, the mattress very comfortable. The room was nice and clean. There are real windows too: often college accommodations have old historical windows which are not actually insulating. Here, there was an extra 'real' window behind the old one, which made the difference both for the noise (There was a concert there that night which was lovely, but as soon as i closed the windows I couldn't hear anything anymore) and the heat. It's in the center but not on a busy street so very quiet. It was hot outside, so I was afraid about the heat in the room (last floor) but it was actually well insulated and I slept like a baby—there was a fan in the room which I did not use. I was also a bit worried about the shared bathroom situation but the bathrooms were individual and surprisingly nice, the shower pressure was perfect and everything was very clean. In my hallway there were 3 bathrooms for 5 bedrooms, which was enough. The campus is big and mix of modernn and historical architecture, it's very pleasant, with different places to sit and work or relax (both inside and outside), with outlets and spots where you can make calls. Big breakfast with a lot of choices! Finally, the staff was lovely and super helpful, which truly was the highlight of my experience.
I felt it was a bit pricey for a college accommodation with a shared bathroom, but after seeing the rooms and bathrooms I now understand the price. Students who live there during term are lucky! Coffee at breakfast wasn't really good.

Location was great, we had an apartment, small 1 bedroom but nice to have a separate living space and balcony overlooking the road on to a park. Very clean and serviceable. Breakfast was a little way away but good quality and in a guests dining hall - so a good ‘uni’ experience. Lovely grounds and amazing buildings and chapel. A different experience and thoroughly enjoyable. Staff all lovely and you are part of the University with students and staff all around. Location was excellent. A 5 minute walk shops, restaurants, bars and 10 mins to the River - passing the stunning colleges and churches. Fabulous few days.
There was a lift, Jesus College does not have a glorious facade - but once you enter the grounds it’s beautiful with plenty of history and stunning buildings and chapel.

The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and well-appointed. It was quiet, overlooking a pretty college Court, and was well placed for getting to points of interest. Breakfasts were good and served in lovely surroundings. It was buffet style but the staff were very helpful with my husband (walking sticks and trays are not a good combination). The luggage storage was very helpful if you arrive early or depart after check out. Overall very good value for money. The only slight negative is that there seems to be no direct access to West Court by bus from the railway station, most routes being a 5-10 minute walk away.

All the facilities you’d expect from a hotel room with the bonus of actually being in a Cambridge College. Friendly staff, good sized room, bed very comfy, great shower room, excellent wifi, and a splendid view across the court. Very relaxed atmosphere, able to wander the grounds, explore the chapel. Breakfast in the dining hall was also a bit special, just a self-serve setup but a good selection and the surroundings somewhat different from your average hotel restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.
Tiny point, but maybe another coffee machine at breakfast, bit of a queue when busy.

What a fantastic find. Location is in City Center and IS a part of the university. Room was well appointed, and looked out into the courtyard. Wasn't luxurious, but was very good. The best part was eating breakfast in the Jesus College dining hall with students. All of the colleges have closed doors to the general public, so super cool to get an inside pass to University life and culture.
Parking was expensive. We ended up paying £36 for 36 hours. Not any other options really. It was an easy walk to the B&B but factor that into your cost.

Location as amazing - not just the beautiful surroundings of West Court but also its central location with excellent access to central Cambridge. The staff were so helpful and polite and made us feel very welcome. The room was a good size with a comfy bed and excellent en-suite facilities. It was modern and very well maintained.
While this didn’t affect us directly, there is no air-con in the rooms which is possibly a game changer for some in the 21st century. There was an excellent fan provided. Other than that, perfect.

Really lovely welcome and goodbye the following morning from receptionist. Friendly staff at breakfast too.Very convenient location to explore town and really nice to be able to explore the grounds of Jesus college too. The room was large enough, big window, clean and a well lit shower room with a brilliantly powerful shower .The bed was very comfy.THe room was very hot but there were 2 doors opening to a juliet style balcony to allow some fresh air in Breakfast was in the great hall across the grounds , buffet style and plenty of choice. Seating at refectory style tables and overseen by portraits of the great and the good ( of Jesus College presumably) Worth noting.... its a clear your own breakfast things away off the table... its not a hotel you know!!! :-)
The room was very modern and stylish but the lighting after dark wasnt great.
