Hotel set way up in the hills with a gourmet restaurant. About 15 minutes from Bastia via an interesting windy road. The view was excellent, due East directly to the island of Elba behind which the sun rises in the morning. Incredible breakfast on the terrace, and meals to please in the evening. The wine list must have over 5 wines to choose from, yes over 500! The parking is on site but on a difficult slope, and limited in number. There is no lift so all baggage needs carrying up steps and stairs. Staff very willing to assist.

The only down side is that the shower/bath is of the old system. The bath taps used to the shower which is hand held in the bath. Can be a bit wet in use on the bathroom floor. The swimming pool is not heated either, but very refreshing none the less.

Great, family run hotel, located on the hills, 15 min drive from Bastia. You can get there by car or taxi. Absolutely stunning view on the mountains and the sea. You can enjoy breakfast (big thank you! for gluten free option!) from the outside terras with spectacular mountain view. Rooms are clean and comfort. Dinner menu is exqusite and truly top food is served! Cudos to the chef! This is type of 'place with its history', so don't expect modern type of architecture or trendy vibes. Instead, atmosphere, quitness, nature around and the owners and staff make this place great experience.

The views were amazing, a great reward for a challenging drive. Staff very helpful. You are pretty much trapped into eating in their restaurant as there is nowhere else, the food is delicious but expensive.

There was a jug and tea etc. but only paper cups which were not replaced when they serviced the room. I can only assume it was because of the tiled floor and the risk of glass shattering. The shower was very awkward.

The landscape views from the hotel are wonderful and the staff is attentive and helpful. The whole place has a kind of old charm which matches perfectly with outside views. The restaurant is superb (highly recommended for a romantic dinner) and breakfast is also excellent, served on a very pleasant balcony over the views and the sea. Bed linen are very clean and of excellent quality. Absolutely clean.

Although tastefully decorated, the hotel definitely deserves some renovation of some old or dated materials (like carpet floors in rooms corridors). The hotel bathroom would benefit from a shower curtain/glass and some more nice bathroom amenities. Just the essential is provided. The (well advised in advance) lack of elevator and the several flights of stairs of the hotel can be a hard moment if you have trouble to move or if you travel with luggage.

The staff was very nice and accomodating, location was great, awesome views from the dining terrace but also from the rooms. Comfy swimming pool and super nice restaurant. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

This was booked as an emergency overnight stop but what a place. In a wonderful location 1200ft up a hill outside Bastia. Will now be looking to book a short break here.

Shower had to be held by hand or sit in the bath

Super views over the Mediterranean Sea and the villages on beautiful Cap Corse. The restaurant and service were outstanding - the head waiter even found our favorite vintage year, which was fantastic. You must absolutely make a reservation as the place is also popular with Bastia locals. They kindly remind you via booking.com, though. Pool is traditional and fitting the style of there house perfectly. Bar has a nice cocktail and beer selection. We had 18 minutes to the ferry in the morning.

As many French hotels, unfortunately, it has no shower holder or rail to mount the shower head (at least not in room 15). The bathtub shower has a glass screen, but open 1.5 cm at bottom and no seal. So as a consequence you tend to flood the bathroom and need to use a towel to prevent. No floor / bath mat provided. Simple things that cost near nothing, but would help to make the experience perfect.

Lovely quiet escape from the city. Beautiful pool. Great restaurant.

Expensive to get to without your own transport. The rooms are very basic and a little tired. No tea and coffee facilities or fridge.

Room was rustic, good size and fabulous view. Restaurant evening meal fabulous. Breakfast buffet excellent.

No shower curtain and swimming pool was FREEZING

Wine card was thicker than telephone book! Breakfast perfect with possibility to drink 30 years old armagnac! Swimming pool and all other facilities were great.
