Loved the location - being on top of the hill and part of a beautiful little town of Pogerola. During our 4 night stay, there was a fair, a band playing and a choir / singing performance. The property has everything you need, good air conditioning and is 100m from Gerry’s Pub and the best pizza restaurant!

I loved that it was located high up in the mountains in Pogerola above Amalfi and away from the chaos and summer holiday crowds. I had a really peaceful time here. The room is spacious and very well equipped with everything i needed. I liked exploring the quiet little neighbourhood of Pogerola very much and seeing the locals go about their daily lives. My host Andrea was very helpful with directions and gave me a timetable for the daily sita bus which was super useful. I would definitely love to visit again one day!

The staff are super welcoming and the property is clean. The views are incredible with several restaurants nearby. It’s a quiet town and nice to get away from the hectic towns. Also loved the hike down everyday to Amalfi. It’s easy to find and do. Recommend the pizza restaurant there and Jerry’s pub has amazing views and dining. Also there’s a gelato place across from the villa which was fun to go to after dinner. It had amazing views at night.

Would have been nice if there was a pool so we could have enjoyed the villa for the day instead of going to town or exploring the coast. It would have been a nice to have on days when we did not want to make that hike down or take the bus and just chill at the hotel. But the staff and the villa were truly amazing it’s hard to think of anything that was bad besides this.

Great setting. Easy access to Amafli via bus. Relaxed area above the town. Nice view of the countryside. Rooms were a nice size. We had a queen bed ant cot and there was still room to move around. The bathrooms were updated, had great amenities, and large. A very nice day. I would stay here again.

We were there when it was very hot. 97 degrees. This is not the properties fault but it was hard to keep the rooms at a cool enough temperature to be comfortable, in that heat. Any other time of the year that wouldn't be a problem. They did have air-conditioning.

The staff was so kind thank you Antonio for your understanding in everything and they were all so polite. The room it was way more beautiful clean with a very large bathroom which I really like and it was way better than in the photos. The location was ok not so far from the down town by car but they give you indications for the bus too so it is quite easy to move around plus it was very cute around the aera where the hotel is situated. The breakfast was wonderful you had almost everything that you need for a great breakfast to enjoy sitting outside.

The room was very clean with a great view of the mountains and a partial view of the sea. The beds were standard but the pillows were very plush and I appreciated that! It was nice to have breakfast and talk with the staff every morning and to have the room cleaned each day.

I didn't realize when I booked how far away Villa Maria was from the actual town of Amalfi but it wasn't a deal breaker. The town (Pogerola) is quaint but still had good restaurants options!

The is the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. The staff clearly love what they do. Very accommodating. They allowed us for an earlier check in to put our luggage away. The place is spotless and the views from our window were unreal. The entire place including our room was spotless and the linens smelled fresh. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was delicious and the eating area served for great views. Lots of variety from yogurts to pastries to meats and cheeses, etc. They also provide complimentary coffee (espresso, cappuccino, etc. and they all taste amazing). The staff was very helpful and informative for bus routes, bus schedules, tourist FAQs, and things to do. The Pogerola bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the stay and is very easy to board. It’s the last stop so there is no way to get lost. The end of the Pogerola bus route is the centre of Amalfi. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the Amalfi coast. Nothing, everything was too notch

Great view from the terrace where you could eat. Tasty and rich breakfast: cereals, milk, yoghurt, cakes, italian specific salami/ham, bread, boiled egs, juice, water, tomatoes, fruits (bananas, melon, grapes). Room was good looking, and clean. Big plus for the water that was put daily in the fridge. Good wi-fi.

A bit noisy early in the morning, due to cars mostly, but it was ok. Poor network signal in the area, but it was not the villa's fault :)

This is a very nice lodging in a quiet town the overlooks Amalfi. There are good local restaurants and relatively frequent buses down to Amalfi and back up. You could enjoy dinner in town and then go back up at night. There is also a path with (with many stairs) between the locations that is nice in day time. The staff is very friendly and the room was large and very clean. Gorgeous views day and night. Reasonably priced.

The listing implies it is 1km from Amalfi. However it is 3.4 by road and 2.4 walking to the port. We were surprised but In the end we were happy with our choice.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and cosy. The location in Pogerola village was scenic and only 500 metres from the bus station and is the last stop for the Pintour shuttle bus from the airport. There were good restaurants and grocers within walking distance. The breakfast was substantial. The village of Pogerola is peaceful and the people are friendly. It was so easy to get to Amalfi town from Pogerola by bus every day and it cost only 1.50 euro one way.
