John on the front desk answered several calls from me when we got lost finding the hotel. When we arrived to check in a bus with 50 Amish people (dressed as if it was the 1800s in America) to check in. We had to wait but enjoyed visiting with all those interesting seniors. We are seniors too! HOWEVER, when I used the key card John eventually was able to give me....I walked in on one of the couples who were unpacking! Hats off...nothing else...thank goodness! We sent our husbands to the front desk (A LONG WALK) to straighten out how we both got the same room assigned? I sat down with the wife for a visit and discovered we are both from IOWA....(I now live in Canada) and when I told her my cousin lives in Keokuk, Iowa....where they are from....the husband knows my cousin's husband. Small world and a delightful outcome to an embarrassing moment ....walking in on the couple after we both got the same room assigned!! John was very apologetic and explained how it happened....THEN assigned us a first floor room above the pool and it had a RECLINER in the room....which is a bonus for me as I have trouble sleeping in a bed. This is a long story about our stay in Minot....but it turned out to be an adventure on our way to Alexandria, Minnesota to visit my family.

Technically ....check in...but it was a rare situation. The hotel is huge! Long walks to get to the room and bring luggage.

The room was modest, clean, and functional. Ac was beautifully cool and fridge worked great. Beds were very comfortable and pillows were soft. Extra bonus…my kid and my dog were free to stay. So we could bring our dog with us. Check in is super easy and check out even easier. Hot tub was very relaxing.

Only down side would be the parking lot. Even though there were lots of parking spaces the asphalt could use some tlc and potholes filled.

It was very centrally located and a beautiful building. It was cozy in the location surrounded by a lot of other shops of if I needed anything. The room was very spacious, far more than I needed for just me but the bed and pillows were like heaven after a long day and night of traveling, I could control the air, the lights, I had everything needed to power my things and get ready for the wedding party.

Nothing. Even for the short amount of time I was there, I had all that I needed and more.

The location is superb, with lots of parking spaces, close to the mall, olive garden, and Starbucks. The pool and the hot tub are the highlight of our trip. There are tables and chairs, vendors machine is nearby. The staff are so friendly, the guests are respectful. The hot water in the shower has good water pressure, the hot water has lasted a long time and there are lots of clean towels. The bed and pillows are so comfy. There's a microwave, fridge, and coffee.

There are not enough lights in the room. The lamp is broken. The coffee machine has no filter compartment. There is no cable and breakfast, but we were informed and never bothered us.

Clean, quiet=most important and they came through with flying colors!! Extremely courteous and helpful staff-I stopped in early to see about my reservation, as I got to town early, and they let me check in at that time!! Super!! I’ll stay here again!!

Clean, quiet, close to shopping and restaurants. Right off the interstate and easy to find.

Room was to hot...had to open windows on a 32 degree night. Turning heat down did not help. Pipes made noise in bathroom all night and refrigerator was noisy. Floors needed vacuuming. Otherwise, room and staff was nice, security was good and the room was roomy with a nice TV.

Great location and friendly staff. Pet friendly and honors the no pet fee policy. The pool and hot tub are great and we even managed to do all of our laundry.

I guess it's older so things have been used, but that's about it.

My initial rating would have been a little higher except for the very loud people in the main corridor passing by a room I realized this is something you have no control over

The staff was terrific and did what they could till our resercation hit their system

Booking.com. took over 45 minutes to hit motel 6 system. It was late at night and i did not appreciate the wait

The front desk clerk was great! I mentioned how my stay last year was awful due to the room smelling like dog urine and I was kept up all night from being near an outside door that shook the entire building when someone went through it. He found me a lovely quiet and CLEAN room. I was super happy.
