Room quality is excellent. Contemporary design with new furniture, lots of pillows. The hotel's interior is equally modern. The staff is exceptionally friendly and always willing to assist. A 25-30 minute walk from the train station and a 30-40 minute walk from the city centre makes the location more or less convenient. It is located close to the Verona football stadium, so the surrounding area is not particularly attractive.

I was surprised to find that a hotel of this standard saves so much on heating. The room has only one rather weak radiator at the entrance, and even with the help of an air conditioner it is impossible to heat the room properly in the winter season (it will probably surprise many, but it is WINTER in Verona). And it's generally very cold on the ground floor, I even feel sorry for the staff who have to work there in such temperatures. As a result, there are a lot of people in winter clothes in the breakfast room, which seems rather odd for a 4-star hotel. Feels like you're sitting in a bus station, not a fancy place.

My family and I (4 people) enjoyed s comfy stay at Hotel San Marco during our recent trip to Verona. The hotel is situated on a bus route to and from the bus/train station and also the historic centre. The transport network around the hotel made for easy access to the main sites. If you're a football fan the Hellas Verona stadium is only a short walk away too! The hotel itself offered comfortable rooms and a really good range of breakfast options. There was the option to use the hotel pool which we didn't do but it seemed pleasant and close by to the hotel is a Lidl supermarket approximately 10 minutes walk in case anything needs to be bought to supplement a stay. Th hotel was clean and with good customer service.

Just a very nice hotel, very good quality and comfort for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was quite rich, rooms quiet and clean, staff pleasant and very helpful with very good English language skills.

I was there in March, so the outdoor pool was closed, which was a bit of a pity - but it would have needed to be a heated pool in any case. The hotel is a bit further away from the main sights (maybe 20 minutes on foot), which could be a drawback for some people. However, compared to hotels in the old center, comfort and value for money are much higher.

Bar prices were reasonable.Rooms were clean and towels were good. Good sun beds in the garden.

Shower cubical is too small and cramped. Coffee and tea making facilities missing inbthe room. Breakfast hot food needs improvement. Some parts of the hotel were dated and in need of improvement ie the pool area, planting troughs need watering and flowers need tending. Loose paving slabs around pool.Not a 4 star hotel maybe 3 star.

Property including the room was very nice, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant.

It was a bit far from major attractions if you are walking. We really liked the option for a 16:00 checkout for a small cost BUT after we agreed to it and while we were in the middle of sightseeing, they called me and rescinded it. It was just a staff mistake BUT it cost us 2 hours of our time and money because we had to walk back to the hotel because we couldn't find a taxi. Then take a taxi back to where we were sightseeing. We had to eliminate seeing 3 things we wanted to see because of the wasted time.

Lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with several plant based milk options and even vegan croissants. Clean room, lovely swimming pool. Slightly out of the centre but a nice 25 minute walk and it felt really safe.

There was a strange smell that came from the bathroom. It wasn't only my room, my friend also noticed it in her room. It wasn't overpowering, and you got used to it, but nevertheless it was there

Clean modern area, tasty included to the full price breakfast, location is near to centre up to 15 mins, it has SPA for a considerably good price 48 euro for a couple, friendly staff and exclusively good cocktails I recommend to order Limoncello Spritz, big Samsung TV that you can link to your smartphone and enjoy watching your favourite shows and movies (we watched Attack on Titans :))

SPA area had two saunas (in good condition), jacuzzi (too much chlorine), medium size swimming pool (too much chlorine)

Great location about 2km from centre so around 20 min walking distance, 20 min walk to train station I visited lake Garda for £4. The spa isn’t included in cost, but I was aware before booking - didn’t get chance to use but looked good! Very clean, quiet.

Breakfast was simple, continental, maybe a slight more variety but still great! The comment I could make was I had the dont disturb on the door but the cleaner still came in. Otherwise great place, would book again!

The area and the hotel is just outside the city of Verona and this can give a better sense of Italian life if you walk and find the local bar and restaurant. The Hotel itself is very good and close enough to the City centre and the Train Station that you can either walk or get a local bus which the reception staff can point out the relevant stops. However the best bit about the hotel after a day walking is the pool which is long and deep enough for a good cooling swim..

Loved staying at this hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful and there are great facilities at this hotel. It was a good spot not too far from the train station. A bit of a walk into the centre of Verona but it was great to explore the local area. The breakfast was really nice and the rooms were comfortable. The fitness centre is big with great equipment. The bar and bar staff at the hotel are amazing too. We needed to get a taxi when leaving and the hotel staff sorted immediately for us. Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting beautiful Verona.

The pool and sauna facilities didn't open until after 4pm, and you needed to book a slot to use in advance. We weren't aware of this and were keen to use, but didn't have time due to not being aware of the need to book. It would have been good to have been told that information at check-in. However very minor! The hotel overall was amazing so more of a heads up for anybody else wanting to book and use the facilities.
