Close to everything I needed to see in Aix Just overall a beautiful, serene arty hotel Room access had no stairs!! Keep in mind this room had an open shower area did not bother us

Nothing my favourite hotel of the 4 I stayed in I felt good value

If i can describe this hotel, it's definitely the best value for money option. A super nice room, very comfortable, quite and clean with an entrance to the beautiful garden of the hotel. The whole experience is a lot more of a 2 star hotel to be honest. The breakfast was really good with a lot of options at a very reasonable price. We visited France for a couple of weeks and we stayed in quite a few hotels and by far this was our best experience. P.S: Feel free to ask for food recommendations in the town on the reception. You will not be disappointed.

Exceptional staff. Friendly, informative and helpful. Graciously tolerated our attempts at French but speak English well. The hotels location is superb, just on the edge of the old town and very close to parking (Pasteur) if driving. The old town has a great vibe to it. Plenty of eateries, abundant shops and historic buildings. Local markets on Saturday seem to draw a lot of people in. The hotel has a stunning garden courtyard which gets even better as you get into summer. The family room we had was cosy but very functional and clean. Beds were comfy. This is a walk up hotel but only a two flight maximum.

Not staying longer!

A good value hotel consistent with it's 2 star rating. Large room, good location next to the large parking garage. Very nice young fellow attended the front desk. I regret not getting his name - super friendly, speaks several languages.

No elevator, very basic amenities in the room.

The location of this hotel is ideal, just two minutes walk into the heart of the city with all its shops and restaurants. The hotel staff were all lovely, very friendly and helpful. Having a lovely garden to relax in at the end of the day was a big plus - I loved the egg chair!

It would be good to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room or even a little fridge. Towels and bins were changed daily along with a bathroom clean, but the floors didn’t seem to be swept/cleaned.

We liked everything. The location was great and our room comfortable, attractively furnished and spotlessly clean. The outside garden was lovely to relax in but best of all were the friendly hotel staff, always smiling, welcoming and helpful; for example they happily carried our bags up (and down) the two sets of stairs to our room without being asked. We would certainly stay here again.

There was nothing to dislike.

The staff on the reception was super friendly and warmly welcomed me. Immediately, I got some guidance on how to get around and where to dine out. My room has access to a cosy garden and the interior was fresh and elegant. It was a spacious room, which is pretty rare for France. I fell in love with my bed and came back earlier after my walk just to chill in the room. Coming back next summer!

a few minor scratches in a toilet room which is absolutely ok

Very friendly staff. Perfect location, as it's right next to the centre of Aix and next to a car parking. The garden for breakfast is very nice.

The only con is that the rooms felt a bit old and small, especially the bathroom, and you could hear many noises from other rooms and doors slamming.

I didn’t have breakfast. I liked the new furnishings and fixtures. The room was clean and tasteful. The reception guy was wonderful and saved me from a huge mistake of going to the wrong train station!!!!! Big deal!!! Very knowledgeable about the local area and connections.

I would have liked instant coffee in my room.

Really lovely staff. I really appreciated all the design in the public area and the bedrooms- maybe it’s my personal taste, but I loved the personal feel to it all. Not a corporate feel anywhere. And great value for money off-season Also a very pretty garden too. The whole place had a lovely atmosphere
