Location and size of room: spacious, comfortable and has the essentials. Drinking water is always available on-site and in the room. Staff is always helpful. Laundrette and convenience store are just next door, and traditional Malay food restaurant which opens for breakfast is just around the corner from the hotel (2-3 minutes walk away). Malls are within 3-5 minutes walking distant.

No hand soap for the sink to wash hands with so I always either buy from outside or bring my own.

This was the second time my family and I stayed at Rocana Hotel; we chose Rocana due to its location and reasonable price. The hotel staff were also quite helpful and the room was comfortable.

The aircons in both rooms were not cold so it got quite stuffy. There was no soap near the toilet/sink so we had to walk to the shower area to get some soap each time.

Beds were comfortable, TV was alright. Shower wasn't as strong as I would have liked it to be. Overall stay was nice. Pretty close to the beach and very close to malls. All in all a pretty good place to stay as it's close to a pretty good amount of locations to hang out at and chill.

Didn't like the breakfast buffet, personally based on my taste, it was a rice dish, a noodle dish, an omelette station, cereals and milk. It was alright but I'd exclude the breakfast option if/when I go there again. There's a lot of food around the hotel to choose from.

I highly recommend Rocana Hotel for your stay in Kuantan. The staff were friendly and efficient.Room clean, bed pillow very comfortable. My only recommendation is to have a plug near the bed, bin in the room instead of going to toilet and a bar of soap at the vanity top in the toilet. Keep it up. V satisfied.

1) Power supply keep switch off automatically upon going inside the room, but luckily the maintenance manages to resolve the issues within the short timeframe. But nevertheless, the hotel maintenance should have scheduled checks on every room to prevent unnecessary inconvenience to the hotel guest.

Your male staff grouping around the breakfast area. A bit not comfortable for female guests till i need to change my mind to get breakfast there 😞

the room is spacious and clean and very comfortable... the bathroom also very clean and nice too :))

the room that i get is too near with the pub.. hence we've some disturbance with the beats and noise at night although our room is at level 3, and the music only stops when approaching between 4am to 5am

Good variety of food to choose. We tried most of them.

Location of plug points was quite far from the bed. Perhaps make extra plug points at both sides of the bed.

The location is convenient. There are other restaurants around walking distance from the hotel. There is also a mall nearby.

The breakfast was not included. Parking below (basement) is limited.
