Excellent location. 5 minutes walk from Perybere beach as well as a selection of really great restaurants. Short bus ride to Grand Baie. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor - lovely with a fabulous view of the ocean.

The breakfast was okay... it could do with some variety. Mostly the same fruits and pastries each day. Became a bit boring especially when you're staying for 7 days. I expected a greater variety of fruits as so many different tropical fruits are available on the island. The crepes were tasty but to serve crepes for breakfast and then again for afternoon tea every day was a bit much.

Every moment of our stay was amazing.

Service was excellent, views were good and place is very clean. Breakfast was good and l enjoyed Teppanyaki at Manzu, chef Wang is awesome.

Air condition in the bathroom didnt seem to work during the day. It created an unpleasant smell for the first few minutes until we opened all sliding doors for fresh air. There is a window but unfortuantely its sealed, perhaps they can put one which can be opened. Also can they fix side staircases so that people dont walk through the restuarant after swimming. Lastly, can they have umbrellas by the pool, sun was unbearable midday.

The staff was really good, the Hotel is good and comfy but need some attention to details, a new paint job here and there. The restaurant has an amazing view as some of the bedrooms. Internet access is fast. Try the spa and massages, in 2 weeks we got a raining afternoon so we did it. We had a great time there.

Our bedroom had a plumbing smell, after we complained about it was fixed (by the means of extra cleaning by the staff), the buffet area was plagued by ants (no surprisingly for a tropical destination), but some improvement can be done in that area. There's an amazing beach in front of the hotel, but its very difficult to get there as there's no access from the hotel, all the amazing photos you see from the hotel are no accessible unless you go on a crossing country walk (10-15m on water and rocks). Standard breakfast bacon sausage. Eggs cooked your way bake beans bread fruit juice coffee cereal. Same every morning. Nothing special but I ate it

Hotel it self was good. But service in restaurant and bar could be better .young lads . Forget things. You have to ask for coffee and butter and if you want eggs. Sometimes they forget the butter or get coffee wrong . No milk . But older men are better. And at bar the barman sometimes not there so bit of wait. younger guys there making drinks won't serve you.

Beds and pillows amazing , food in restaurant beautifully presented, and the staff are out of this world so friendly helpful and charming the staff made our stay. To let people know you are required to wear long trousers at dinner no big deal they tell you at checkin and it’s on the room brief so please don’t put staff in uncomfortable position to have to tell you. The staff are absolutely the best thing at this hotel Mr Navin and the reception team the restaurant team father and son servers amazing,the cleaners all are simply wonderful

The staff at the Ocean V were exceptional and couldn't do enough to help! The food is a huge plus at this hotel - we went half board and would highly recommend this option. The food was fresh and tasty - breakfast was a buffet and an excellent selection every day. We would love to go back to this hotel - amazing management :)

We loved our stay - direct access to the beach would have been lovely but not an issue at all. Car hire is cheap and so many beaches within easy reach

Really lovely hotel: the amazing rooftop view and the pool steal definitely the show! The staff was very friendly and took care of all our needs from beginning to end. Jean-François, Ryan and team were very attentive and gave us an impeccable service at the restaurant, every time we visited. The food was really well prepared, tasty and varied during our stay! The spa treatment with Vinita and Geeta was high class, excellent massage - wish I had the time to go again. Special thanks to Sandren who made our last day extra special! I stayed at the hotel with my mother and we were also very comfortable in the senior suite which was very spacious and cosy. We were both very pleased. Overall really relaxing stay, will definitely recommend!

The staff were really lovely Asha at the reception received us so warmly and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay. The house keeping was also great, in the evening they would come around and ask if there's anything we need and if we would like they freshen up the room. The location was perfect especially being close to the beach. We enjoyed the spa treatment, got a relaxing massage from Geeta. On our last night we had dinner at Manzu and it was exceptional, the food was delicious especially with the live cooking experience 💯 We really enjoyed the pool which was always clean.

The breakfast buffet was the same for a whole week, the juices, fruits, pastry, everything was exactly the same! They should do better. The dinner was quite disappointing especially with a dress code requirement you would expect something spectacular, but there was nothing really. Also, on the dinner menu everything had rice! Plain basic rice everyday. Generally, the food menu at the rooftop restaurant was wanting. The rooftop bar was boring.

1. Lift got stuck and we left before it was fixed 2. Everything on the property is for sale including a bucket of ice. There are things that should be complimentary.. . They are not flexible when it is check out time. We were chased out of the room
