Characterful, spotlessly clean room that was warm and cosy. Good shower, plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed and quiet area which made for a good night’s sleep. Wide choice of food for continental breakfast. Great communication from the team at Langley Arms, genuinely wanted guests to enjoy their stay and were keen to receive feedback about anything that might be improved as well as future plans for the accommodation. The new owners have exciting ideas to regenerate and extend facilities including the (closed) pub next door which had become quite ‘tired.’ Hopefully they’ll be able to move forward as it will be a unique and lovely place when fully completed

This 17th Century cottage with 9 rooms available is exceptional. The building itself has so much character & lots of it's original brick work. This is the second time we have had the absolute pleasure of staying here in an amazing King Room. The owners Mike & Brian go beyond expectations. Sarah is brilliant & so helpful. She is such a lovely person. Sharron with the two R's was lovely, after meeting her for the first time on our second visit. The Langley arms pub next door is an additional bonus. The staff & customers are lovely & extremely friendly. Sorry we didn't see you this time Steve. We are so sad that this has now been sold. We hope with all our hearts that the new owners are just as good & keep the prices the same👍 as we want to come back soon in the near future.
There was a hiccup with our original room when we arrived. Fortunately after speaking to Sarah , she sorted it out for us the next day. We spent a further 4 days, happy in the originally booked room.

Pros: Beautiful building, comfortable room and friendly helpful staff.
Cons: "continental breakfast" consists of cereal/toast/croissants - so could have been better. Expecting guests to pay an additional £7 for a cooked breakfast isn't good. Only handwash provided, no other soap/shampoo. No wifi code available in rooms & mobile signal in the area is only 3G Be aware that there is a pub next door and it can get quite noisy.

Room was very good, The location is very good, not far from the M4 and M32. Sarah, the only staff member we saw, was brilliant
As it advertises as a B&B expected an English breakfast not a continental breakfast. Full breakfast is available as an extra.

A lovely 17th Century (and maybe even older) that has been sensitively restored and includes original features gave me the best nights sleep that I've had in ages. As a B&B owner, I know what a challenge it is to maintain such fine properties and the whole feel of the place was calm, welcoming and relaxing. The hosts were very helpful and the break was amazing - a great continental selection of cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, cold meats and cheese, breads and crumpets, yoghurt, fruit juice and pf course, tea and coffee. A great place to stay that will only improve with time once they have the restaurant up and running
That it was only one night, as it's a great location,
Rebecca

Overall we had a lovely comfortable stay at Langley inn and host Enam was very accommodating. As the inn has not long reopened we will offer some feedback to support improvements. It would be helpful to have a sign for the venue on entry. We were confused about the location of the venue as it is situated behind the pub which has currently shut down. Addition of welcome information in rooms. Basic information, emergency contacts, WiFi instructions, etc. Also a compliments book, so guests can write about their experiences. As a new business Langley inn is sure to evolve and become the perfect place to stay.
The only difficulty was the green emergency light situated above the bed in our room. We totally understand the need, however, this did disrupt sleep a little.

Good space in the room with a double and single bed in the room. Staff were contactable and very punctual when we needed more cups, tea and milks for the room. There was a good selection of continental breakfast ( including bread, hams/cheeses, cereals, eggs to boil etc)
We didn't use the pub so cannot comment on the pub. There was a lot of steps up to our room but these were manageable. There was not a lot of cutlery in the breakfast room meaning that when a table had been used there was not enough cutlery on tables for a us to use. But we worked around this. The shower was quite small due to the small bathroom

Following our sat nav we really thought we were heading the wrong way and then suddenly this magnificent 17th century farmhouse appeared. The host was so friendly, and so passionate about preserving this little piece of history. Our room at the top was spacious, with plenty of room for two comfortable arm chairs overlooking the view from the window. The breakfast room was light and airy, the buffet continental breakfast just right. The restaurant had not yet opened but our host told us to take a short walk across the adjacent common where we found a choice of places to have supper. If we are back in the area we would definitely stay there again and for longer.
The bed was a little firm for us but that is a personal preference.

Very cute property in a location that was convenient for our needs. Very nice breakfast, mainly cold options but lots of variety and an exciting egg cooking contraption that was fun to use and cooked a perfect soft boiled egg. Room was a good size and it was warm and the bed was comfortable. It was a family room and the child bed was in a cute little nook so it was there but felt a bit private for our teenager.
Nothing really, if I had to be really critical the building was old so the floors were creaky so if creaky floor noise bothers you it may not be for you.

The owners were so friendly and accommodating, very approachable, the property was wonderfully periodic with lots of character, it's exposed wooden beams, large oak door and large fireplace in the breakfast room adorned with a variety of paintings, our room was nice and warm and clean also with the exposed wooden beams lining the roof and a large chandelier light in the centre. A great place to stay and only a short drive to Bristol city centre or to Bath.
The single bed had a few loose springs and the chair had seen better days but all in all we were very pleased with our stay here and would definitely recommend it.
