The Sparrow Grove Manor is a lovely place with 4 suite in Monroe, Georgia, about halfway between Atlanta and Athens. It‘s a nicely renovated old house, having preserved its original Southern charme. Our room was spacious with an adjacent bathroom, all very clean. All access information is provided online and access is by an entrance key. However, communication with the owner was easy and answers were provided very quickly. We’d like to come back!

Loved the suite I booked (suite 2). It had a living area and a bedroom, bathroom with shower and a tub in the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable, the water pressure great and the daily snacks, water and coffee (also coffee/tea in the room) were perfect. Also loved that the staff put an additional little table in my room for my personal snacks and beverages.

I grew up in a Victorian home so I am used to the noise level these grand homes can have. If you are not on the top floor, you will hear the person above you walking around. Remember these are wood floors with area rugs. I personally didn't care but it is worth noting.

Our room was beautiful, very clean, the property was exceptional.

The ONLY thing I can say negative is that the lighting was pretty dim in the room. It was hard to see to put on makeup.

The location was wonderful,the inn itself was very nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend the manor to anyone traveling to or near Monroe

Excellent location to downtown and the beautiful shops! The inn was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was attentive when we saw them asking if there was anything specific we would like in the kitchen/snack area on the third floor. The accommodations were beautiful. We enjoyed our stay there so much! Would highly recommend this quaint location to anyone!

We had a great time. The rooms were comfortable and it was a quaint place that made you feel like you were home. It was clean and comfortable. We also had our rehearsal dinner there and the staff was incredibly attentive and the old charm made it very special.

This BnB is a beautiful mansion set in a residential neighborhood at the edge of Morgen's downtown area. The entry and downstairs still have the original wood charm and style. I was in suite 1 which was gorgeous, spacious, and classy. Often, I can feel like older buildings don't "feel" as clean but this was spotless with high quality everything from linens to furniture. Additionally, I had an event that would get me back right around 11 am (checkout time) from which I really wanted to shower. The owner and I spoke in advance and she made arrangements for me to be able to do so, even though they had other guests checking in later that day. I was so incredibly grateful for her kindness and for this Inn! I do wish I had had time to soak in the tub - it looked incredible!

I really enjoyed my stay: the place, which turned out to be a soundly balanced blend of an antique vibe of the historical place and contemporary upgrades. Usually, I am a low-maintenance person: just need a clean room with a shower and clean sheets (in safe surroundings). But Sparrow Hill truly exceeded my expectations: besides being clean and neat, the room was decorated with a good deal of taste, everything was thought through, I appreciated little touches: coffee, tea (Earl Grey is my favorite!), chocolates. I wish I had more time to spend there to see the interior and decor of the entire house. But if I ever happen to be in the area again, I will definitely try to book in Sparrow Hill again, and, of course, will recommend it in a heartbeat to any of my friends or co-workers.
