The house is charming with a lot of potential. The location is excellent, close to the beach, good restaurants, convenience stores, etc. The best thing was the hospitality by Channon and his wife who were lovely, friendly, and dedicated to making everyone feel welcomed. We were happy to see the guests enjoying the common areas, and while we prefer more privacy, I can appreciate the community spirit fostered here.

The interior is tired and needs updating. The carpets felt dirty and weirdly squishy. I appreciate that this property welcomes pets, and ideally there would be no carpeting for pets to accidentally ruin. We were excited to stay here based on the photos, but in person the interior felt much darker and heavier than expected. Even during the day, we needed to turn on multiple lights, and the thick drapes and heavy wood finishes made the rooms feel closed in. The furniture and décor are solid and traditional, but combined with the dim lighting, it gave the house a slightly gloomy atmosphere rather than a relaxing getaway vibe.

We can see why this place has good ratings. It's not too big, so service was personal and quick. The place has an easy charm that makes it comfortable and unhurried. What really stands out, though, is how quickly the problems and questions are addressed. No place is perfect, of course, but when something's not quite right (or in this case when I didn't know how to do a thing), what stands out is how issues and questions are handled. Their enthusiastic handling alone would be enough to warrant good reviews. Add on to that their helpful and excellent recommendations for local food and things to do, reasonable prices, nice accommodations and a wonderful location quite literally across the street from the beach, and it definitely deserves five stars. We look forward to going again soon.

Very secure, great location, and clean! The owners Derek and Ann make this place feel like home! They are super welcoming and invited me out with them to show me live music and great restaurants! They know the whole area! Couple mins walk to the beach! Warm pool and hot tub. Book in advance if it’s high tourist season!

Prime location, across the street from the beach. Hospitality and cleanliness was a 10/10. The hosts will work with you to accommodate special requests. Looking forward to staying here again.

Beautiful room and balcony overlooking the ocean! Great customer service and amazing breakfasts. Safe inside parking and walking distance to many restaurants and of course the beach.

No bad remarks. Will continue to stay here every time we come (several times a year).

Everything was perfect and very good advises from Derek, and the travel back to US was perfect. Very clean, close to the pacific, safe parking, and the bed was perfect to recover.

Breakfast was totally awesome!!! The staff was very friendly, and exceptionally professional.

The shower wasn't working well, but was fixed just as soon as we reported it.

The owner, Derek and his wife were great. The day before I arrived, he texted me personally. They make breakfast in the morning and we spoke like old friends. There is just the right blend of personal service and privacy.

Coffee in my room was old and tasted bad. I'm sure Derek would have given me fresh had I asked, but I decided to buy my own. Not a big deal.

Derik the hostess with the mostest !! Absolutely wonderful. Facility is awesome very secure. Small cozy very homey feel. Location was great .Easy access to to locations. Very cool game room. And I like that it's small. You get very personlized attention. The views from the balcony are wonderful 👍♥️ Had my coffee out there in the morning 🌅. And can I just say...that after staying at various upscale Hotels ...The beds HERE are hands down...the most comfortable in town !! I felt right at home here. And will definitely be returning !!
