Bed was amazing! Place is newish so in good condition. As the pools are shared there was a family atmosphere which was nice. Best of all dogs are allowed ( I didn’t take mine)! Big shout out to Nana although not sure who she belonged to but she liked belly rubs and treats! The girls who cleaned the rooms and ran the place were smiley (no English) and very hard workers.

Serious issue with locus. Although not harmful they look scary and people were regularly freaked out by them. Although it was nice sharing the pools with other families on our last day a family arrived and the atmosphere changed. They were allowed to play loud music, shout, drink heavily and just generally quite intimidating. Nothing was said to them and we retreated into our room. If this had happened at the beginning of our week stay it would have become an issue.

We had the two bedroom villa with the terrace in between (villa 1). We loved having the two separate areas. One bedroom had the two twin beds, tv and kitchen and the second areas was the queen bed and bathroom. The shower is outside and I was a little wary about that but it was fine…very private. The pool is glorious and very clean. The grounds are immaculate. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We are just learning Spanish so we did need our handy translator to communicate 😊

There is nothing really that we didn’t lime but we do have a few suggestions: More hooks in the bathroom and outside for towels are needed. A shelf outside to put things on in the shower area. Side tables for the lounge chairs by the pool. More toilet paper - only two was provided for 8 days and two people. Strainer for pasta. Bottle opener!! Dish soap

Pro: The place has amazing facilities, loved the two pools and the villas were comfortable The checking was easy, the rooms clean and enough for a couple, family o little group of friends The accommodations is pretty close to the beach (about 2km) on the main road Cons: I would suggest to establish some visible rules to regulate people behavior at the pool. During our vacation a group of kids were just doing dives and jumping on the pool without any supervision and even the other guest members weren’t able to be in there without being bothered by the kids. Fortunately there were two pools cause we used the other one that was peaceful The induction stove didn’t work during our stay The parking lot was big enough but could be better to delimit better the spaces, cause many people used even two spaces.

The villas and swimming pool are great. Comfortable beds, good AC, hot water. The cleaning staff were super helpful and friendly, they checked us in and went above and beyond to help us during our stay.

Management seems a bit disorganized. They never sent us check-in instruction codes and never replied to the phone when we called them several times when we realized the "concierge" that was supposed to check us in was not there and we did not have the door code. Also, be aware that it's a 20min walk to the beach.

Really nice, private set up, the 2 pools are great as its never too busy. Lots of eateries nearby. Very nice beach with controlled parking, and parking at the villas is good. Room is great for a couple.

Some umberellas around the pool would be good, and its not an obvious easy walk to the beach, you have to go down the road. Still an accessible 20 minute walk.

Far off the beaten path is this beautiful gem of a little hotel. The room has a fully equipped mini kitchen, refrigerator, induction stovetop, toaster oven, microwave, rice cooker, cutting board, and all utensils needed. The shower had great water pressure, the finishes were premium. The pool was fresh and brand new, they filled it the night before. I had the feeling no one had stayed in our room before, because parts of our kitchen still had barcode stickers on them. The tv was nice, had all the services. The pool is small, theres 2 for about a dozen rooms, but my partner and i spent the afternoon at one alone. The staff was nice and responds quickly to you via whatsapp. I recommend renting a car to get here, because taxi’s are expensive. This hotel is a bit far away from things, theres just one burger restaurant next door, with a minimarket. Theres more restaurants about 10 minute walk away, and a beautiful beach about 25 minutes walk away named playa avellanas. The hotel says its in tamarindo, but its about 30 minutes drive from there. This is a perfect spot to get away from it all. Oh! And the AC is perfect here.

The bed was a bit hard but i slept like a baby

Wonderful place, private and great location. Convenient 220V extension available for EV charging upon request. Check in and access to property is automated. Decoration in public zones and rooms is very nice.

Parking is outside the property. While there are security cameras, it could be inconvenient. Not a safety concern, just an area of improvement.

This was an awesome little hotel. The the two rooms are split up by a little outdoor courtyard which was awesome. The kitchen was stocked with all utensils you'd need. The rooms were spacious & really clean. Staff friendly. The pool area was lovely and spacious. We were super lucky and had a troop of howler monkeys outside our room one afternoon. Heaps of parking around there as well. Would suggest having a car to be able to get around there but also loved being out of the hustle and bustle and more with nature. We would defiantly stay there again.

Very convince location and well priced. Comfortable villas with the advantage of Kitchenette. A small family can take advantage in this hideaway gem. New property with 2 pools close by to Avellanas beach.

Have the option for extra cost to add additional cleaning. Other than that great place.

It is brand new and very cute, set up and decorated nicely. The pool is nice and has a shade which is great. The beach is either a mile and a half on the road or you can walk through the mangroves about 400 meters right to the beach. There’s a mini super very close and a soda for yummy local meals. The kitchen has all new appliances and the fridge is good sized to stock up on your own food. We had a great stay!
