Location is away from highways and has beautiful views. Does not feel crowded as there are only a few rooms. Our room had a kitchen which was ideal for our 4-night stay. There is lots to explore in the immediate vicinity, e.g. Terbodore Coffee, The Workshop (superb lunch venue) & Nottingham Road. Breakfast was always tasty. A braai with charcoal and firelighters was provided for us to braai one evening. Bathroom very spacious, with infra-red ceiling heater/lights. Long scenic walks (or trail running) on the adjacent farm.
A few minor maintenance issues e.g. one wall heater in the room contained a large crack (it still worked though); Access to the neighbouring farm for our walk, was difficult, as we needed to navigate large heaps of empty plastic water bottles on the adjacent plot of a water company.

It is a lovely property with privacy. The staff was amazing & made sure we were okay. Rooms had heaters since it is very cold at night. Lovely English breakfast by the staff. WiFi was working well. They even had generator turned on when there was a power dip in the evening. I initially booked a room with only the shower but wanted a bathtub. The owners were kind enough to put me in the room with a bathtub & shower on my last night there. Manager was available 24/7 to assist with anything. Exceptional services from the staff

We enjoyed our stay at Curry's Post. We enjoyed the room we had, it was clean, comfortable and we enjoyed the modern design of the room as well as the beautiful view out of the windows. Breakfast was good, lots of continental options to choose from in terms of cereals, yogurts and juices. The location was central and we could access many suggested locations without travelling too far. We also organised a romantic turndown for our anniversary, and they organised a lovely petal spread with some chocolate and bubbles - nice touch to our celebration.
The room had a few little details that were omitted, like one of the bedside lamps did not work, the water from the shower went all over the bathroom and with a modern layout, one would expect a coffee machine in either the room or in the dinning room (we only had access to cappachino sachets, which is nice, but not for a long stay). We also felt that more warm breakfast options could've been offered, instead of just a full english breakfast every morning - such as french toast, a eggs bennie or omelettes would've been nice.

Location amazing. The breakfast hearty. The host and staff friendly and helpful. Got to star gaze on first night with telescope. So cool. The stay very comfortable. Only problem was electricity a couple of times. Couldn’t have a bath the last night. Don’t know if that was to do with the place being booked out and geyser struggling with all guests or because of electricity. But all in all very glad we stayed here. Beautiful.

We loved the view, the neatness and cleanliness of the rooms, the warm hospitality from the host and staff. We really enjoyed our breakfast on both days. It was an excellent stay overall.
I was a bit dissapointed that the room did not match the room we selected. We selected a slightly larger room with couches. We also battled a bit with the shower steam as the extracter fan was not working.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Curry's Post Bed and Breakfast, and several aspects stood out to make it a memorable experience. The breathtaking views from the accommodation were nothing short of spectacular, providing a picturesque backdrop that added immense value to my stay. The host's warm and friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere, making me feel right at home. Additionally, the well-appointed room added to the overall comfort, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
While my overall experience at Curry's Post Bed and Breakfast was positive, there were a few drawbacks that need addressing. Firstly, the cleanliness of the accommodation left something to be desired, as there were areas that could have been better maintained. Moreover, the presence of loud music played by the cleaning staff on their phones during their work detracted from the peaceful ambiance I sought in the Midlands. Lastly, a noticeable mold and moisture issue in the rooms was a concern, affecting the overall comfort and air quality. Addressing these issues would significantly enhance the quality of the stay for future guests.

We arrived late and waited at the gate, grateful for the effort by staff. A spacious room with clean, minimalist furnishings and a beautiful view. An amazing bathtub - nothing like a bubble bath to shake off a long drive. Very comfortable bed and an delicious breakfast in the morning to linger over before setting off to Durban. Great location, even for a one night stay over; delightful shopping opportunities on the way back to the N3.

It delivers exactly what is says - Bed & Breakfast, in its own class. Rooms are comfortable, comfortable bed, bathrooms are well sized and showers are a good size and a proper shower head - thank you and a heated towel rail. Breakfast was excellent - standard English breakfast which was tasty. Tea, coffee & juices also available.

Breakfast was good and staff very friendly. Scenery were amazing especially the sunset. Host was excellent, accommodating and even showed us some star gazing on telescopic. Fire place was a the best!
There were no options for a dinner,as local restaurants are 18km away and its not advisible to drive on those roads at night and in rainy weather.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and relaxing and the setting was amazing. The roses and chocolates on the bed, were an unexpected and welcomed surprise, especially being Valentine's Day.
Plug-in mosquito repellant or Tabard stick, etc. would have been useful in the room. We did request and were given some Peaceful Sleep Spray which did the trick.
