This property is located in a beautiful garden with a pool and a spacious and well equipped room with lots of privacy. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed, and included special touches like milk for the coffee and tea and cookies and chocolates. The location is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Sue was very gracious and helpful, contacting us through WhatsApp to connect before the trip, then making dinner suggestions and reservations once we arrived. There is a complete bar available to guests and the breakfast was home cooked and catered to our specific likes and dislikes. Consider yourself lucky if you can get a room here and become acquainted with these very special people.

There was nothing to dislike about the property. It was beyond our expectations!

John and Sue Ross go beyond your average friendly hosts: they customize breakfasts, which are full and delicious; they give you as much or as little company and advice on activities as you want. We left feeling we had made new lifelong friends.

Our bed wasn't quite as firm as we like, but that's just a matter of taste.

Everything. The beds are comfortable and the room is cleaned every day. There is a lovely lounge area with a view of the pool and garden, which are both beautiful. John and Sue are excellent hosts, who made us feel welcome from the start to the end of our trip.

charming, friendly hosts, willing to go out of their way to make your stay a happy one. Breakfasts were delicious, the bed comfortable and the gardens beautiful. And, very importantly after the recent floods, safe clean filtered water.

We stayed at Meander In for one night only. From the moment we arrived, Sue, John and Granny made us feel like their home was our home too. Their warmth, attentiveness and friendliness would be difficult to find elsewhere. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and necessary amenities. Although tucked away in a suburb, Meander In is a few minutes drive from the N3 which is great when you want to make an early start on your journey.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast which was served timeously as we had a schedule to meet. There was ample parking. The Guesthouse was close to our final destination. We shall use them again.

The breakfasts were very good and the lovely gardens and swimming pool gave us a great feeling of peace and tranquility.

Everything especially the services from our hosts. They made us feel like family. The room was neat and cozy, and food was homemade and amazing. If you are considering this spot I guarantee you wil not be disappointed.

Accomodation was top tier, an amazing garden, room was warm and cosy thank you so much for the electric blanket we were so warm. The Breakfast was out of this world. Great service from John and Sue and great conversation.

Meander In is a little oasis near the Midland Meander. We loved it. From the moment we arrive John, Sue, and Katherine + family made my husband, dog Abby, and I feel like we were home with a warm welcome. The accommodations were incredibly clean and the bed was so comfortable. The shower was also excellent which we really appreciated because it was a cold and rainy day. Breakfast was delicious and so was the generous braais they offered us for dinner the night before. We really enjoyed sharing a meal and getting to know the family. We cannot recommend the Meander In enough. Oh and ask John about his Greek Olive Oils and vinegars for sale. So yummy!
