We loved how peaceful and tranquil the place is. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed and coz. The cottage has easy access to the road. The bonus for us were the visits from the dogs, we enjoyed them so much.

Maybe let us know upfront of check in process. My phone battery died while on the way, if it was not for the other guests who were checking in at the same time with us we wouldn't have known what to do when we got there

We went to take photos of a meteor shower, but the security lights on the other side of the lake were a problem with it not being dark enough 🥲

What a stunning place, big and spacious, beautifull views! Very clean and comfortable and right on a beautiful big dam! Centrally located and easy to get to. Felt like we were living on our own farm. Will definitely go back!

The oven is a little old, its not a big deal just took some proding and poking to get it working.

Great location to Michaelhouse School. Clean and tidy with comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Lovely views over the lake, especially in the morning sun

Said there was wifi but it didn't seem like there was any. Also mentioned toiletries, but only hand soap. Neither a big deal as place was so lovely!

Boats had holes in. DSTV was not a full package so we couldn't watch the rugby. a bit of TLC is needed as taps are loose, some windows don't have latches.

Loved the drive down, visiting the art and craft shops. The scenery and views are spectacular. The views from the rooms and the peace and quiet is what will make us return. My boys loved the canoeing on the beautiful clean dam and even caught some bass.

We did not like the flies, which we assume are from the surrounding farms. The beds were very hard, and the carpets in the bedrooms need to be replaced. The kitchen could do with some deep cleaning.

the location was great and the place was serene and welcoming. self check in was efficient. the host was understanding as we over slept past check out time as we were extremely tired. the night was very quiet, not a sound. exactly what we needed.

furniture is a little bit dated in terms of style but then again it is a farm stay.

Location was great for us as we were going to Michaelhouse. Breakfast - did not know that there was a breakfast option.

Could not see where to go as it was dark when we arrived, perhaps a light directing us to the Boat House would have helped.

We loved everything about the property, the quaint peaceful cottage feel and especially the fireplace. The gardens and views were tranquil and peaceful. Will definitely come back again.
