Our host Ryan was excellent and really made my wife and I feel like we were in our own home - thank you Ryan🙏🤗🤝. Breakfast was excellent. We loved the dog and cats, wished we could take them home with us! The property is beautiful, peaceful, well maintained and luxurious. Garden needs some attention though. It was a lovely stay, and we will definitely return on our next trip to the Natal Midlands.

Nothing we didn't like really. The short dirt road to the property was a bit rough, but I believe it was raining very hard the week before which contributed to the state the road was in. Anyway, if you drive slow, it's not a big problem.

Everything about this establishment is top class. Ryan was super accommodating making our stay a memorable one. Food is 5 star quality and the setting is extremely relaxing and tranquil. Staff is super friendly and the entire property is well kept and picturesque making for amazing photography. Flawless stay overall!!

Absolutely nothing to complain about whatsoever.

What a lovely, warm, homely stay. Ryan, all the staff and animals were great and friendly. I love hot, high pressure showers and the farside offered that which is lovely in the cold, misty midlands mornings and evenings. Abel the chef's breakfasts were always perfect in presentation and taste and they accommodated my very late breakfast times which I greatly appreciated. A seating by the crackling fireplace with the resident dogs, a glass of wine, soft music in the background and a good book made the stay a 5 start indeed.

Excellent host with great attention to detail. Facilities were well maintained and honesty bar was a bonus. breakfast was well organised and catered for and very homely feel made this a really enjoyable stay.

A bit noisy when other guests were going in and out of their rooms

A beautiful gem of a place, well located from Drakensburg and Midlands Meander. Breakfast was so nicely presented and delicious, especially the sourdough bread. Room was very comfy and setting so peaceful and homely.

Our stay was just too short. Would have liked more time there to walk around the dam and enjoy the tranquility.

Beautiful stay and very cozy and friendly vibes! The host was very welcoming and accommodating. There was great attention to detail in the rooms and decorations. Food was well prepared and everything where possible locally sourced and fresh. We had a lovely stay and wish we could have spent more time.

The shower/bath was lovely and looked beautiful but a bit of a struggle when showering (not bathing!). Try as we might we still managed to get water outside the tub.

Ryan is ever so accommodating and friendly. Rooms are and entire property is stunning. Home away from home. We had a most pleasant stay. Albert the chef cooks up a fantastic breakfast and bakes awesome sour dough bread.

We didn't enjoy leaving, could have spent the rest of the week there.

Beautiful accommodation and surroundings. Well centred between Nottingham, Howick and surrounding facilities. Clean and well catered. If you are looking for an escape for a weekend this is well recommended.

Gorgeous facility, located in a quiet area with expansive views across the surrounding fields. Large, well furnished bedrooms including a ball-and-claw bath and a full bathroom. Well furnished lounge with a lovely fireplace. Scrumptious breakfast menu served by a very friendly chef. Everything was well organised by friendly, efficient staff. Highly recommended!!

Away from heavy traffic, country feeling, Clean, trusting. Walked about and practiced pitching with golf club. Lots of activities available. Breakfast was sumptuous

Pillows were too soft for me May be a choice of firmer pillows, I sleep better
