Nature was beautiful, very scenic.

The roads are very bad, luckily we had a high car but I don’t recommend this road for low cars as the dirt road has many potholes.

Beautiful view of dams and Nguni cattle. Unit is very clean and comfortable with quality furnishings. The underfloor heating in both bathrooms is a bonus during cold weather. There is underfloor heating in the 2nd bedroom and an electric blanket in the main bedroom (Unit 6A). Another bonus is the special arrangement with nearby Gowrie Farm for a complementary round of golf. 10/10 would recommend and visit again.

Nothing, really. The road to get there is not fully tarred (obviously not the fault of the property) but if you drive carefully it's not a problem.

The property is situated in stunning surroundings, off the beaten track. Our one-bedroom cottage was unexpectedly spacious and extremely well-equipped. Comfortable sofas and underfloor heating kept us cosy in the chilly evenings. The large bedroom had a king-size bed and lots of wardrobe space. We loved the way the 2-seater dining room table was laid for us every day. A perfect spot for a gathering of family and friends with the variety of cottages and houses on offer and lots of outdoor activities.

All great, no complaints!

The property at Whispering Waters was an absolute delight, with its serene peace and breathtaking morning sunrises that beautifully illuminated the porch. The staff welcomed us with warm, cheerful smiles, and the unit was impeccably clean and well-maintained. My family and I loved every moment and are eager to come back again and again.

The location was absolutely beautiful. We really loved the little dams and being able to go on the canoes. The chalet was really nice and clean and equipped with everything you would need. Really a stunning place and will definitely be back soon. Super relaxing and tranquil

The only thing that I would improve (and this is entirely based on personal preference) is the bed size and support. It was a bit small and soft for us but really nothing serious. It would have been amazing if there was a bath in the bathroom to have a nice warm bath on a cold evening

the entire chalet was just beautiful ,the finishing touches on the interior design were just spectacular and they have such an amazing view.We were also offered /loaned family games like 60 sec @ no cost which was much appreciated as well. This place has beautiful scenery it like a little paradise housekeeping was top notch The host was also very helpful and welcoming

The place is beautiful! Superb location, picturesque, quiet and so peaceful. The staff are lovely. Very welcoming, informative, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I can highly recommend Whispering Waters to other travelers, family and friends!

There is nothing not to like.

Whispering Waters is absolutely beautiful with rolling hills, little lakes and the leaves changing colour in Autumn. The Adventure golf was a lot of fun and it was convenient to get firewood and ice from the property. They even come and light the fire for you on request! And we got some cool board games from reception. The Forest Walk hike was also very enjoyable and easy enough for my 5 yr old.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there was no door to the ensuite. The pool didn't look very clean but as it was a chilly weekend we didn't use it anyway. There is about a 2.5km dirt road to get in and out which we got a puncture on but I guess people must just be very careful when driving on it.

I really like the safety. I also like that you can have a picnic and cycle and play chess. A variety of things to do that make it a fun weekend

The chalets have thatch roofs and a bat kept coming in. We couldn't sleep well because of this on the first night. Luckily it did not come in on the second night.

We love the tranquillity of the place. We walk down the beautiful river. The mist on our arrival just made it so special. We will say again. Undercover parking is an added bonus. This time was a summer stay and we could use the outdoor braai.

The place was so clean just a pitty the shower door had some water marks.
