Form the confidence building, warm, welcoming what's app on the morning of your expected check-in, the pristine cleanliness of the rooms and all facilities and the rather special location and environment, our stay was wonderful. ALL the staff added to the experience with their attentiveness and efficiency. Our original plan was to try out the different, acclaimed restaurants in the Midlands area each night, but the food on offer at the lodge was so good we decided instead to eat in every night. Thanks guys for a lovely stay.

A few more hooks to hang things on in the room and bathroom would be helpful. Also, the shelf in the shower is meant for giants

All very commendable - really very comfortable and staff are so very friendly and helpfull. The styling and quality of furnishings and decor are of the best! The sereneness and view are like very few others.

No still water available in room's fridge - only an ?old wrapped Mac burger in the fridge. An establishment like this should have a small Nespresso machine in their rooms like many other of its kind has. A foot stool or ottoman in the bathroom could be an asset as there is nowhere to put clothes etc. The shower head in the shower is so high!; and so is the shelf on which to put stuff or reach theirs - an older or short person like me can never reach there!! Only one large bath sheet and one normal bath towel supplied - different sizes? The hatch in the ceiling in the toilet - many dirty marks

Exceptional piece of heaven!! Mike and his friendly team went out their way to make this a memorable stay for us. Lodge is ideally located, has fantastic rooms which cater for your every need. Staff are very efficient and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were presented picture perfectly, and tasted even better!! Mike went out of his way to assist us with some extras we required - THANKS!! We would highly recommend the venue, and will be returning as soon as possible.

There was nothing not to like.

The staff - Bongi and Gareth were great. Very friendly and helpful.

I must say I expected something a little more from the food. We missed supper as our function finished after 8pm. Would have been nice if a cheese option left in the room was on the table. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. No sourdough or other bread options - very basic. I was so looking forward to something a little more!! In saying that what we did have was tasty Coffee was disappointing - coffee machine was broken. Gareth did however make me coffee from his own personal machine.

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Lovely fresh milk is supplied for beverages in the room. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful Cyril, Michael and Bongi made our stay memorable. The breakfast and dinner were gourmet quality. Very cosy and friendly environment. Centrally located for vinting the Natal Midlands.

The owner very kindly let me stay in my room until my driver came to pick me up, free of charge, for a few hours and also extended a bit of the breakfast bar timing for me as well! They were also very prompt in accomodating a late meal for when I arrived (which was delicious and the first time ever having malva pudding!) and also ensured my safety as a lone traveller by repeatedly checking in on me enroute to the the hotel.

Well appointed rooms, very comfortable bed, lovely touches with home made biscuits and fresh milk supplied. Nothing was too much trouble

The golf course was in very poor condition due to a lengthy period of adverse weather .. the pro shop should have informed us of this or at least given a discounted rate. Very disappointing.

Bosch Hoek lodge is just off the N3 highway with convenient highway access. A dirt road close by links to Notthingham road and exits by Edi's. We enjoyed lunch at the golf course, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The shower had a slightly blocked drain which we informed the staff of when we were leaving (we were only there for one night), and the toilet seat is coming loose in the unit we stayed. Apart from these minor elements no complaints.

Breakfast was good. Just need some Almond milk, as we are lactose-intolerant (can not drink normal milk).

Small maintenance issues need addressing : # lamp at side of bed (on right, when entering), not working, due to faulty wallplug (Unit 9); # toilet after flush, keep on letting water into bowl, as the mechanism, does not stop/cut, the waterflow.

The rooms were very nice and clean. The beds were excellent and so were the pillows. Staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was brilliant. We also had dinner and that was lovely. Our main reason for staying over was to play golf and a halfway house on route to Umhlanga
