Location, walking distance to ferries to Mackinac Island. They also seem to have upgraded the room interiors and improved the included breakfast since I was there about three years ago.

Upon entering the building, it looked like a warm and welcoming cabin. The stairs that lead to the breakfast area were picturesque. The breakfast was tasty and well stocked. Our room was cozy and large. We had plenty of room to move about and had a couch for lounging. The best thing was the next morning. We had a room on the lake, and we were able to watch the sun rise. We will definitely stay at this location again.

When we arrived at our room, it was very noisy in the hallway at 9:30pm. We were hoping the "partying" would be short lived. After a half hour, the noise was gone, and it was quiet.

The hotel was fantastic!! We had a lake view room on the 2nd floor for 3 days and the view was spectacular. The lady who checked us in was amazing and reccomended at least a dozen things to see and do. I personally have been to Mackinaw before but had never done the Historical Trolley Tour, she suggested, which was well worth the cost. We ate at Audeys, which was great, got discounted ferry tickets through the hotel and swam and sat in hot tub each night. Breakfast was great and our room was super nice and very clean. We will definitely stay there again!!!

Upon arrival, friendly front desk staff & knowledgeable. Answered all questions & explained all tour expectations in full. Greatly enjoyed our jacuzzi tub room - exactly what we expected. This hotel should allow for unbreakable wine/champagne glasses & candles. Would greatly increase ambiance for couples. Location was perfect for dining & just walking to visit your city.

Add plastic glasses & candles to the jacuzzi rooms. Bath robes would have been a great addition to our stay. Found the duration of the breakfast a bit short because it does get very crowded…no table was available at 8:20 a.m.

We were lucky enough to be in room 449 which was far from the noise of other guests. Comfy bed and furniture. The beach view was so nice. We were able to walk to so many places. Staff was really responsive and so helpful when we asked for directions, etc. The whirlpool tub was a great treat.

The breakfast options were limited, especially healthier choices. The lighting in the bathroom needs to be upgraded-it was very dim, especially over the mirror. Please add some towel racks in the bathroom-there was literally no place to hang a towel except the 1 hook on the back of the door.

The employees in the breakfast area were not friendly. The garbage in the breakfast area was overflowing perhaps you can add additional garbage cans. The housekeeper was not very friendly either. Never acknowledged us or say Hi on her own ever when we said grudged.

Housekeeping and Cafeteria employees were not friendly at all. One of the house keeper was listening to gospel and should of been wearing the e plugs

Front desk staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The location was great for both ferries and downtown area. Great view of the lake. Room was very spacious. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel is a little dated and could use some renovations. Fold out couch mattress wasn't great. Venting in bathroom may need some improvement as the ceiling could stand to be cleaned more regularly.

We liked the whole stay. The location was perfect, the room was clean. Was said not to have a microwave but had one. The balcony was nice for morning coffee. The breakfast was good! The pool was clean nice and warm.Both beautiful ladys at front desk were super helpful and kind. It was quiet and not full of noise. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. I will say it's outdated, but I liked that charm. And the price was right. Thank you for a clean, safe, and quiet stay

fresh towels brought daily. staff very friendly and kind. they even gave us a free upgrade.

elevator only went to the 3rd floor and we had to climb stairs with all our luggage to the 4th floor. Jacuzzi tub had not been cleaned in some time as there was black algae that shot out of the jets any time you turned it on so we couldn't even use it. the tour busses made it unbearable to even try to get Breakfast between the 2 hours it was open.

I liked the atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel welcomed. I loved the breakfast room with the several windows. The breakfast was delicious and had many options.

I didn’t see a filtered water dispenser. Since I went in the off season it was hard to find places that were open to get water. I got water from the bathroom sink as a last resort. The room heater was very loud and woke me up in the middle of the night.
