I like that it was clean and close walk to dining n shops. It has a cool vibe like a hangout spot in lobby in the evening . Pool table was fun. Pool and fitness area was neat and clean.

The fire truck wake-up. Being beside the firehouse was an in convenience when they wake you earlier than planned because duty calls. I saw dog on elevators, didn’t know it was a pet friendly place or I would have booked elsewhere due to my own health reasons. Small shower! No true closet, had a fridge but no microwave.

The staff was very accommodating for our requests and extremely pleasant. The room was perfect...bed super comfortable, plenty of space...and perfectly clean. The location is perfect for walking and catching a bus to UNC campus. We will return here!

Cleanliness of the common area. Not having 1/2 and 1/2 for morning complimentary coffee ....only options were all sweetened coffee mate products (the staff did allow me to open a whole milk that was for sale in the cooler...which was appreciated!!)

Room was comfortable, although a bit compact. Location was excellent, with several good restaurants and shops a short walk away. Onsite laundry a plus. The gym was small, but serviceable. Free coffee in the morning, and the coffee was fine. Easy to get a drink in the lounge in the evening.

No real breakfast offered. (But a very good breakfast place within a short walk.) Everything is very compact.

Easy check in and check out. The lobby is welcoming with lots of nice touches including board games. The room decor is eclectic.

Road noise was pretty loud and unexpected. May not stay again for this reason. Ear plugs helped for night number two. One elevator was broken which was ok as I did not mind using the stairs but it made for long wait times during check out times.

I like the rooms, especially that the beds are situated away from the hall. They are always clean, well maintained and quiet.

I didn’t like that the Check-In desk has been moved right up to the Entrance and that it’s very small and right in the line of incoming and outgoing patrons, people trying to bring in luggage, as well as those going to the snack or coffee area. The Check-In Desk placement is HORRIBLE, and NOT WELCOMING AT ALL!

Kim and all staff helpful and courteous... a bit pricy but great service and cleanliness...

TV didn't work well not sure - signal came and went several times. Bit pricey - would like real breakfast with eggs in the morning scrambled egg whites on avocado toast would be a recommendation.

Near some good restaurants. Incredibly helpful, friendly and go the extra mile staff. Community atmosphere common areas.

Unreliable breakfast availability but First Watch nearby. Very busy streets and fire station next door.

The hotel is beautiful, but not too big. The rooms are ultra stylish. It has a beautiful pool and fitness room. I arrived late in the evening but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hot tea was available which was just perfect for me.

There was free parking available but it was a three or four minute walk away. The on site parking is limited and a little bit expensive.

The facility is exceptional

The price was increased dramatically due to a special weekend with UNC. This should be reported as price gouging. I have stayed at this property on the same days of the week for a fraction of what I just spent... Shame on you Aloft

The location, the clear headedness and helpfulness of staff, when electricity was lost, the cleanliness, the modern/fun look, the friendliness.

Watching TV in a hard chair. My back does now allow me the luxury of watching TV in bed, so I opted for the desk chair.
