My stay at the hotel was pleasant with excellent location and room view. The staff was friendly and professional, from reception to room service to the concierge.

We are four adults with no kids, and our only issue arose during breakfast. There are two buffets available; we chose the one close to the lobby to avoid the crowded area with families. I noticed the person in charge at the entrance tried to convince us to switch to the other buffet and asked us a lot of questions. On the last day, she again tried to persuade us to switch buffets or wait for 30 minutes. Although I agreed to wait, she then informed me that the buffet would soon close. Despite available empty tables, I refused to switch. Her lack of basic hospitality and unfriendliness were disappointing.

The experience at Gordon Ramsey breakfast was a terrible one on 2 consecutive days Every time I come with my family , they try hard to convince me to go for the buffet Sir , we have a buffet upstairs Sir, you will wait 30 mins (while in fact they have empty tables) Once I insist , I just wait 3-5 mins and the table is ready I did not feel welcomed at all Just because we have kids or maybe because it is included with the rate I do not know but it is such a bad experience on 2 days Very bad

Having a room located below the main lobby can be slightly disorienting. Nonetheless, it was a unique experience and the waterpark view was breathtaking. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of choices, and most of the ones we tried were delicious. The staff, especially those who helped me during check-out, were very friendly. Their welcoming presence prompted me to want to return in the future.

The sliding door at the breakfast buffet requires you to constantly wave to the touch sensor which can be a bit of a hassle, especially if you have both hands occupied. During the night, the waterpark was not illuminated which could have been a pleasant sight rather than complete darkness.

Very kids friendly & overall well maintained. The location was also very convenient as it was connected to the mall. The rooms were nice & new, very luxurious. Kudos to the staff too that made us feel at home! We also had the option between two breakfast locations - a buffet breakfast (overall good for adults, but not great for kids - too much sugar!) and a set breakfast at Gordon’s Grill, of which we loved the latter! Tasty dishes of which you can tell the culinary effort put in & quality behind the ingredients used.

Only because I’m particular about children’s nutrition - in the buffet breakfast option, I found the kids dining section needing great improvement in terms of the offering. While it’s absolutely lovely to see a special area just for kids, the dishes served were not the healthiest & I would actually select items from the adult’s section instead. There were too many sugary & fried dishes. Please do a review of this as I believe parents these days are increasingly more health conscious and would like to make better dining choices for their kids.

Everything was awesome. Staff were soooo friendly and action was always taken urgently, we booked 2 bedrooms Villa , it was amazing, cozy, clean and comfortable , have an access to sunway lagoon theme park directly from the hotel and the shopping mall as well , highly recommended

The way to the villa is very difficult specially at night time ( no elevator after 10 PM to the villas ) and the way from reception to the villa is very far , since i have children and baby stroller. Other than that it was excellent choice in kuala lampur

The location is fabulous, lots of restaurants are around, and you are allowed to bring in your takeout. The staff were absolutely amazing and helpful when you needed assistance. The resort is massive with so much to do and see, like the massive mall, the amusement park, the water park, the pools, as well as other subsidiary of sunway which is the school, the hospital etc.. that I couldn't cover in 5 days. Very clean and secure environment. It is indeed top class. The previous hotel I stayed in at Malaysia almost ruined my holiday and how i saw the locals, but sunway Resort changed everything from the moment we checked in. I will definitely be staying in this resort on my next visit as i have a lot more to do🤣and I have been recommending to friends and colleagues. I can go on and on, but I guess you know what I mean already😂👌

I had to pay for access to the water park and beach as it's not included with the lodging fee, and it's a bit expensive for a day pass. So every day we had to pay to access it.

Everything changed after the recent renovation. I have stayed here before and I can see the huge differences. New rooms, furniture, pools, and other facilities (water slides, kids club). Perfect for a family with kids.

Not enough options for breakfast for people from Middle East backgrounds. The restaurant was better a few years ago when I stayed here. Considering the large number of guests from this area, it will be a great addition to have a Chef who can add more options to the menu.

The resort design is wonderful especially after the renovation, the cleanliness of the resort in general and the rooms in particular, there are no insects or animals around you, there is a very large swimming pool with a gradual depth for adults on the first floor and there is another one for young children that contains a wonderful set of water games on the fifth floor, the design of the rooms and their furniture is excellent, the buffet is spacious and contains various items that satisfy all tastes, adjacent to the Sunway commercial tower that contains many international restaurants and shops, behind it is Sunway Entertainment City that contains many games and recreational activities, it has a medical clinic, it has a tourist police office, it is close to both the capital Kuala Lumpur and the airport 45 minutes by bus, and many others I invite you to explore it yourself, in the end whoever visited Malaysia and did not stay at Sunway Resort has not visited Malaysia

Room was very comfortable with very good housekeeping. Our kids loved Water Venture - really can play for many hours. Location was perfect as there is a link to Sunway Pyramid mall. Not to mention very close to Sunway Lagoon! Entrance link right at the breakfast cafe. So convenient indeed.

We were there for 5 nights and breakfast was practically the same every day. They should change up the variety. We didn't like that they provided 'toothpaste tablet' instead of the normal paste ones so if you're one who doesn't like having to chew on tablets to get your toothpaste, bring your own.

Everything was amazing. We were greeted by an automatic curtain opening show as soon as we open the door, and welcomed by very nice music and the TV page with my name on it. The toilet automatically opens when you are approach it. The electronics were definitely one of the best I've been. Very comfortable, and the resort is directly linked to the shopping mall and the Sunway Lagoon, so we can just go straight after breakfast. We got the top floor so the view was amazing! Breakfast was wonderful with an option of either an excellent buffet selection or Gordon Ramsey restaurant. Overall, it was amazing and would definitely go back.
