Everything! The view, my God. Stunning. The mountains are so beautiful. The room was modern but had touches of country charm. The bed was HUGE. And so comfortable. Full-size fridge and even a little dishwasher. Underfloor heating, towel warmers, spacious master bedroom for our suitcases to sprawl out. Felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, and as proud kitty parents who were missing our 3 furbabies at home, having Oscar stay the night with us was the best. The sppaaaa! In the dark, watching the stars move under the clouds, toasty warm in the water, freezing cold outside of it, just pure bliss after a long day of riding horses. Wish we didn't have to leave! Pool towels plus normal towels, they've thought of everything. Owners are so lovely.

We booked the Cardrona Studio for a winter escape and were blown away. Self check-in was seamless – key and welcome note waiting – and host John’s messages made us feel looked after from the start. When our hot-water cylinder cooled off after a late-night shower, John quietly boosted the temperature and it was piping hot by morning: stellar service. The suite is generous, spotless and fully equipped, but the real show-stoppers are outside: snow-capped Coronet Peak framed by the French doors, a sky so dark we could photograph the Milky Way, and tranquil grounds where the only “noise” is birdsong.

Felt like I’d hit the jackpot when we arrived at Manana. From the lovely neighbourhood, to the grand entranceway and driveway, to the sweet little note left at the self-check in reception, to opening our door and revealing a huuuuge tastefully decorated suite. The room had everything we needed and more: a lounge area with comfy couches, dining table, kitchenette, big bathroom, cracking view of the grounds and mountains and the most comfy bed ever. I never thought we’d find a bed comfier than our own, but the bed at Manana had me stripping off the sheets and taking a photo of the brand so I can replicate the same thing at home. We couldn’t bear to go out for dinner so grabbed some takeaway to eat in front of the tv in order to get a tad more time in the room. Handy to the airport but no noise from the planes. Lots of thoughtful extras: tissues in the room, bedside wireless phone chargers, makeup wipes, heated towel rail. I didn’t get to meet the owner, but I did meet the cuddly cat, who came knocking on the door and settled in for a night on the couch with me. Puuurrrrrfect.

We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds and the views of the mountains and surrounding area are beautiful. The pool and hot tub were delightful after days of hiking, biking, or other activities. The living room/dining area, kitchen, and balcony provided a really nice place to hang out and relax. If you've been staying in smaller motels or accommodations, it's great to have a place to unpack and spread out--especially if you're lucky enough to be able to stay 3-4 days as we were. We weren't expecting to see the night sky so clearly in the Queenstown area, but the views at night from the property were stunning. Although this is outside downtown Queenstown by a 15-minute drive, it is minutes away from activities we were interested in: lots of hiking and biking options, Arrowtown and the Gibbston wine region, and for our departure--the airport! Appreciated that the hosts provide access to bikes and laundry, and were very accommodating. This is a wonderful place for couples and for families.

We found everything to our liking. If you're interested in bringing in some food for breakfast or other meals, the PAKnSAVE in Frankton is a close-by option.

So clean, warm, cozy, and inviting place. Pool in summer months, sauna and hot tub/spa. Owners are amazing. We missed meeting them, but recieved a message thanking us after leaving! Electric blankets on bed, towel warmer, and heated tiles in bathroom! Perfect in winter, and the views of the snow ripped mountains just set the scene beautifully. The location is just far enough from the crowds in Queenstown, with local shops just down the road for all your necessities.

There is NOTHING you can not like about this place. It is perfect 👌

The location was ideal for shopping at the 5 Mile Outlet at Frankton and meant not having to drive 6km to shop in Queenstown itself. The 2 person studio was v generously proportioned and well furnished with quality finishes. Laundry was v handy, with powder supplied , an iron and board. And the outdoor space was lovely with great views. The design and proof the apartments was v well done. The swimming pool was lovely.

Nothing really. We thought only 3 plates, bowls etc was a bit minimalist and we would have appreciated a salad bowl. We had to use sauce pan!

There was loads of space, the view from the room was spectacular and we could cook our own meal. Bed was very comfortable

Our room was right above the laundry facilities and the noise from the dryer was quite loud - laundry was allowed to be used until 10pm at night on our first night the dryer was going for 3 hours until after 9pm which was quite annoying The location of the property was beautiful but quite a long way out of Queenstown and the traffic into and out of Queenstown was awful - road works didn’t help, it took us at least 20 mins in bumper to bumper traffic

Stayed in the large studio which had the most amazing views. John the owner was so friendly and helpful - giving us good ideas of where to go and what to see. The studio had everything we wanted, kitchen facilities, comfy bed and sofas, sun loungers just outside our property and also enjoyed a swim in their lovely pool. The bathroom was well equipped and there are also laundry facilities available. Totally recommend staying here, it was absolutely perfect.

The unit was very large for a studio also very well equiped and super comfortable. Oscar the resident cat was very welcoming as was his dad John (the owner of the property). There was a lovely pool and sauna on site as well. The description and photos are accurate. The grounds and scenery are amazing and the location is perfect being outside of the hustle and bustle of Queenstown, yet very close to major shopping, cafes and restaurants.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

This is a beautiful property set in stunning grounds in a great location. The apartments are spacious very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely swimming pool and hot tub. Close to shops restaurants and cafes. The owner John and his team are really friendly and could not do enough to make our stay even better. We will definitely be back.
