The best resort in Vietnam! The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent service. Specifically the front desk manager, Sunny, who went above and beyond to make us happy. She ensured that the team made sure that we had the best time! Originally we booked our stay for 4 days but extended it to 8 days because of the outstanding service.There are free bikes to use as you please and a free shuttle to the city. The buffet breakfast was superb with a wide selection of savoury and sweet dishes. There is also free drinking water located in the lobby. The rooms are big and cleaned every day. Beautiful views. We will definitely come back!

This hotel is simply wonderful! The property is well kept, clean, pretty and the staff is exceptionally friendly. They did everything to make our stay perfect, and we enjoyed every moment in spite of the rainy days. The location outside of the old town is not bad at all: you can get there easily by Crab or taxi, and the hotel has bike to rent for free. Biking across the rice fields to the beaches or by the river to the old town is something our family enjoyed a lot. The spa was excellent and worth the price. We had a massage nearly every day after exploring the area either by bikes or day-trips that the hotel also arranges for a very good price.

The staff were so friendly and helpful with great knowledge of the activities in the area and happy to help organize your day. The conjoined room suited our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers (have found suitable bed arrangement hard to find in other places). Breakfast was fresh and a good mix of dishes and freshly made omelets on request. Daily servicing of the room, which smelled fresh and clean. Offered free shuttle service to and from Old Town twice a day. Commute by car to Old Town approx. 5-10min drive. On-site restaurant which had a large menu selection at reasonable prices. After staying 8 days we were sad to leave.

My friend and I have just returned from an amazing 2 week holiday at Coco River. The boutique hotel is a 10 min taxi ride from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An’s old town. If you get the Grab app, taxi’s are easy to use, around £3.00 to the old town and beach. The old town is amazing at night with endless shops, stalls, food and restaurants. The hotel has a lovely pool set in beautifully kept gardens, an outside restaurant and an amazing spa. We had a treatment every other day, a 90 minute massage cost around £25. Hanh gave me the best hot stone massage I’ve ever had, she was so attentive and professional. Our rooms were clean and spacious with an enormous bath, overlooking the pool. What really makes this hotel is the staff, it has a family run feel. Thu on reception went out of her way to make our stay as comfy as possible. Bin and Thanh served us amazing food, always smiling and chatting. If you want somewhere to relax away from the town then this hotel is ideal.

The property was fantastic - lots of space, nice big pool area, surrounded by greenery. Spa on site too, should you need any massages or treatments - pretty reasonable, and discounted treatments. We didn’t eat a full meal at the restaurant, but we had some drinks and snacks there and it’s a lovely location, by the river. The staff here were very attentive, warned of what to avoid and recommended places to go, including a good tailor (lots of “not so good” ones around apparently), and were super helpful with bags, opening doors, asking how our day was and if we needed anything. All staff were friendly, accommodating, but never intrusive or intense. We loved our time here.

The location is a little way out from the Old Town, but we were happy to sacrifice the location for the additional space and respite. Grab taxis are cheap and the hotel also lent out pushbikes for free, as it’s not too far to cycle in

Nice resort on the outskirts of Hoian, nestled on the river bank with a spacious garden and swimming pool. The staff is without any doubt excellent and most kind. They helped us through our whole stay with anything we needed. Rooms are spacious and clean. We booked connecting rooms as a family which worked really well.

The first night we were booked on the ground floor next to the aircon units. The noice was too much, the next morning we were offered an upper room which was much better. The staff was really concerned about our wellbeing which was amazing.

We had a fabulous stay in Hoi An Coco River Resort staying a full 2 weeks with our young children. The hotel and the staff were so kind and welcoming to both us and our children. Miss Sunny and her team of lovely ladies spoiled us and helped us with all kinds of queries and travel tips recommending some really wonderful things. The hotel and room itself are beautiful and really well maintained. We were very comfortable in the connecting room which was perfect for a family of 4. Lovely linens on the beds, and fresh towels everyday, the housekeeping does a fantastic job. The pool area was an absolute favorite with our children and was really quiet for most of the day and we often had it fully to ourselves with just a mini rush at around 4-6pm. The spa was excellent and the massage we received was one of the best we experienced in our travels in SE Asia, the masseuse was very professional and attentive and prioritized our comfort. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel and would 100% recommend it to all our family and friends. Thank you once again to the team for such a special stay.

Saying goodbye

The resort is located a bit outside of Hoi An, but the hotel shuttle service worked well for transportation. Also, it’s not too far to walk—about 30-40 minutes at a good pace. The hotel itself is fantastic—great pool, delicious food, and excellent breakfasts. The staff is very friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

There was a slight musty smell in the room, but this seems more like a climate-related issue rather than a hotel problem. Once the AC was on or the room was aired out, the smell disappeared. Overall, it didn’t affect the stay, and everything else in the hotel was great!

When I first arrived, I thought the hotel looked beautiful — spacious, clean, and inviting. At first, I figured that’s why it had so many great reviews. But after staying here, I realized it’s really the staff that makes this place special. One night, I lost my phone while getting into a Grab right outside the hotel. The receptionist and the hotel owner were incredibly kind and helped me track it down. We found it through FindMy, and the owner actually drove me 30km out of town to pick it up — and then all the way back. After the whole ordeal, he wouldn’t even accept my tip. He just said, “When I lost my phone, I would’ve been so grateful if someone helped me — that’s why I did it.” I was so relieved to get my phone back, but even more touched by how much effort the team put in to help me. Aside from that, the rest of the stay was also great. The breakfast had a delicious variety and the connecting room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We booked a coconut boat tour through the hotel. It was a short one-hour trip — simple but was sufficient for the area and activities — and the hotel was flexible with timing and helped us find helmets after we insisted. My family and I enjoyed the experience and would absolutely recommend this hotel to others.

The quaint of design, and shape of the houses. But most of all I love the genuine gesture of the staffs, they're all happy to serve you, show you their hometown Hội An. The room is nice and comfy bed, the shower room is large as well as the bathtub. Nice and well maintained garden, swimming pool isn't big but good for relax after the hot day. Breakfast was a big plus, variety of dishes and very delicious local dishes and great Vietnamese coffee....so on and on the good things about this place. We definitely come back and highly recommend for solo travel, couple or family. We're of 4 just had a wonderful stay at there and the staff did a wonderful job to organize and manage our trip to My Son sanctuary.

I can't think of anything which I don't like about this place. Seems everything is perfect.
