The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The rooms have been refurbished and the hotel belongs to the NIGHT CAP business which is an excellent company. The room has all that is needed, for coffee making, a fridge with REAL milk in it and two bottles of drinking water, and a large LED TV. The Air conditioning is a split system unit which was QUIET and CLEAN. I liked the bar downstairs where you can get a drink. Also we received two free drink vouchers. The lady who checked us in was super friendly and very helpful and welcoming! The free breakfast pack was so handy! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Rose and Crown.

The pillows were a bit hard. I prefer the softer variety. Maybe offer a "soft" or "hard" variety? The bathroom was a bit tiny - but that's ok - no problem at all as the price of the hotel is reasonable! There was no shelf in the bathroom or vanity basin to put toiletries.

I liked how friendly the manager was and very helpful. Also the staff were fantastic. The stairs to access the rooms are right next to the bar, there is an 8 ball table and arcade machine to play. Good value place to stay and a comfy bed. The shower had good water pressure

How small the bathroom was but it was easy to manage.

I liked how the rooms are really. Just nice size for a solo traveller like myself. Comfortable beds. I would stay again. And even recommend it to other people to stay there.

There was only one thing about the food. That a nice home like cooked food would make the stay even better. More choice on the menu. Like freshly cooked food at certain times of the day/ night. Would be amazing. And some nice selection of drinks and snacks in the fridge in the rooms, that can be of cost after when you check out.

Very helpful staff, nice pub for a few drinks and very good value for the price. Highly recommended.

The windows could be cleaned a bit more regularly. No more restaurant, but opportunities for dinner in the neighbourhood.

Was so neat and tidy, very clean and organised. The best and pillows were so comfortable I honestly wanted to take them home

Absolutely nothing I honestly couldn’t fault anything, Maybe just the bathroom as it was very small and not much room with the toilet and shower being so close together

I sort of knew what i was getting when i looked up the website, and it was on the mark. Room was very clean and staff were helpful. Train station was close enough to get train into the city which we did.

Amazing staff they were so helpful close to the hospital were need to go only down fall was there was no full Bristo on site but lots around the hotel

Very clean the bed was amazing had a lovely sleep on it, think the fold up bed on the couch needs a new mattress was so hard, but in saying that I had a lovely stay at your hotel 👍
