The bed was comfortable, and hot water was good for tired travellers.

I was charged additional 15 pounds additional despite paying 145 pounds for two rooms. As the name is Hotel, normally hotels don't charge for late check-in.

This hotel is amazing! The historic building is beautifully renovated with a fantastic balance of character and pristine, modern amenities. We stayed in the family suite, which is on the corner of the building with a large window seat in the turret. The original amber-stained glass windows were a highlight. The air conditioning was the best we've ever had in a hotel, which was a godsend for this hot summer. The room, hallways, and lobby are immaculate. This is a unique stay in all the best ways possible. It is a small, family-owned hotel. The owner greeted us - he is extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely return next time we are in Liverpool.

Fantastic customer service start to end couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely building. The rooms are spacious and clean. The big room is fantastic for groups, we didn't realise the room up the stairs is actually a seperate room with an onsuite which was a nice surprise. Taxis into Liverpool don't take long.

Parking isn't ideal. Luckily we was coming on a girls weekend (so was out late) however one of the rooms was right over a bar that had loud music in to the night. Ear plugs was provided but really this should have been something that was mentioned at booking. Potentially my own fault it maybe does mention it somewhere but a courtesy prompt wouldn't go a miss. If your going to touch up paint make sure it's the same shade or blend it out so you can't notice it. It's a really minor point and not in many places but it's an easy fix and can make all the difference between a nice room and a really nice room!

The owner,Paul, could not have been a better host.He made us feel like we were family in his own home. He moved us to a room closer to the registration area when he discovered my wife's mobility issue. He made dinner reservations for us at one of his favorite restaurants when we asked him for a recommendation and helped us with our luggage on departure. We also loved the decor, the quiet, and the cleanliness. We will definitely be back if we are ever again in Liverpool.

Absolutely wonderful room. Our host, Paul, was enthusiastic, welcoming, took every care to ensure we were comfortable and very friendly. It is a gorgeous place and I would highly recommend. The facilities were spotless, with a great rainfall shower in the bathroom and all the space you could want. Very comfortable bed too. The inside is classy, tasteful and full of character.

No complaints, only thing some may wish to note is it is above a (nice) pub so if you book on a weekend stay and if an early sleep is important to you, there will be noise and music until midnight or so. On the other hand, you have a good pub conveniently easy to access if that is what you want! So take this as a pro or con depending on your own needs

The owner went beyond his duties to make my three days comfortable , welcoming, and private. He helped me with a difficult situation that was important to address in regard to future travel. The room was very clean and inviting with some home comforts and crisp clean sheets and towels. If I had to say one shortcoming, it would be that it could be a little warmer, but then that is subjective to heat comfort. Overall, I would come come here to stay again without hesitation. Thank you

I have addressed the room heat, and the outside steps do need to navigate, but the owner addressed this unque guest house/hotel.

A little hidden gem of a hotel with buckets of character once inside. Me and a mate was staying, I mentioned to the owner how difficult it was to find a local hotel with twin beds because we booked a double room, the manager gave us a free upgrade to a 3 person room that had separate beds, amazing.

Booking.com mentions that the price included a cold/continental breakfast (surprising considering the low cost), however, there is no longer any breakfast at the hotel. Not a problem for us, Wetherspoons was only a 10 minute walk on route back to the train station. I wouldn't let that put anyone off staying here.

Stunning decor in the room, clean and tidy, good wifi, comfy bed, good shower. Pretty central for stadiums - 10 min walk to Everton, 25 min walk to Anfield. Bus stops very near easy to get into town. No parking apart from July (permits) but taxis easily available from Lime St or airport. Would recommend to stay as a lovely hidden treat with very nice hotel inside the classic looking building.

Thought there would be parking as ticked box for parking at hotels but sorted transport out so wasn't an issue. Stunning stained glass windows in the top front rooms (altho bring eye masks if you want to have total darkness in summer mornings)

The room was very clean and spacious, a lovely contemporary room in a grade II listed building. The owner Paul takes pride in his business and was really helpful.

Access is by some iron steps so could be difficult for someone with mobility problems. The location is not that nice either. However if you just want a room which is beautiful and clean, this hotel ticks those boxes. Lastly there is no food available in the hotel but plenty of takeout places, cafes and restaurants close by.

I absolutely LOVED my stay at the Glebe Hotel. Paul is such a wonderful owner and he made me feel like a long time regular. I stayed here TWICE within a two week time span after wrapping up a film production. It's my new cozy little home across the pond. The showers are divine, the beds are beyond comfortable, the town is quiet and quaint and there is a little pub right underneath the hotel. What more could you want. There is no place like The Glebe Hotel.

Nothing negative to say at all.
