A warm welcome in Sinclair's bar and an explanation of room key card etc. Taken to Room 10 via a side entrance door alongside the main doorway. Small compact room but all that is needed is there. Location is ideal on Lord Street we used it for an overnight stay for a concert at The Atkinson. Breakfast vouchers are used at Lord's Cafe restaurant a few doors down from Sinclair's. It was very good.

The bathroom toilet is quite cramped bit not a problem to us. Shower was easy to control with a fine spray - toiletries provided.

Really modern and high end finish with great location.

Pillows a little lumpy but great size rooms and huge bathroom. Shower was awesome! When we checked in we were given voucher for breakfast for Gingers next door but when we went to breakfast the next morning they did not open until 11 and said they didn’t so the breakfast any more and sent us down the road… if nobody was cleaning and setting up we wouldn’t have known to go elsewhere but breakfast was terrific in other venue and included in the price!

The rooms were to a good standard and nicely decorated. It was clean. Loved the biscuits, you don’t often get them in rooms now.

We didn’t like the entrance, as it was scruffy and wasn’t the most welcoming. We had booked the rooms for our group and my sister in laws face was a treat when she saw the entrance and staircase, I was embarrassed. We let them have the superior room which cheered her up. It was such a shame, because the rooms were lovely, albeit our bathroom was a little small

Excellent value for money! Communication was great and check in process smooth. The room was clean and plenty of teas+coffes+soaps+ towels. Our heater was on all night so it was very warm in the room (thankful because it was minus temperatures this week!) The location was fabulous, would recommend to anyone needing to stay a night in Southport.

The bed was very very soft- but of course this is personal preference. No full length mirror in the room, only smaller mirrors. No parking onsite, there is paid parking some distance away. The hallway smelt like sewage in the morning.

All staff were very friendly and helpful,room was nicely laid out and absolutely spotless. Bonus was a bay with table and chairs with a nice view. Location was ideal with everything we wanted on our doorstep. Car parking for 3 pounds per day was 3 minutes walk away. DEFINITELY intend to return.👍

Only downside was steep and narrow staircase which my partner wasn't comfortable with but other than that there was nothing not to like 😊

2nd visit To Sinclairs.Lovely helpful Guy met us and shown to room.We were in room number 1,it was stylish and comfy 😀 we had a drink outside on arrival, little glass of wine or 2,same Guy served us.Friendly once again he is a Credit to himself and this lovely accommodation. Drinks good value, loved the evening background music in The bar,chilled and relaxing tipple b4 we retired to our room.Would definitely return for a 3rd visit 😊 Excellent Service 😀

Nothing all 1st class service all the way.

The staff in Sinclair's bar downstairs were very friendly and efficient and explained access to the accommodation etc extremely well.

The only issue was parking and this was really due to the fact that there was a major event in the town that night. Although there is a carpark nearby that only costs £3 per day there was no opportunity to use it. We did however manage to park on the street next to the accommodation which was due to kindness from someone leaving the event. This provided us with free parking from 6pm until 8.00 am the next morning. We would have appreciated if breakfast had been provided and would have willingly paid more for this should the bar have been open.

Own door, no need to go through PUB premises. Polite, friendly. helpful staff. Very good location. Found off road parking close by. Good selection of complimentary Tea/Coffee/Biscuits. Complimentary toiletries.

Only stayed one night. So not a problem for us, only one hanger in wardrobe. Prefer to be able to walk round bed and each person able to get in and out on thier side. Appreciate this was a small double room, so bed had to go against two walls. Again only one night stay. So we managed but would have been disappointed for a longer stay.

Stayed here for a wedding across the street , led the room a mess as was in a hurry to leave not expecting the room to be tidied when we came back, embarrassing for me in a rush but very nice surprise to come back to ! , perfect location for staying in Southport , excellent communication from the owner when I had questions, check in easy and staff very kind ! Gave great recommendations on food/drink , parking easy to find just 100m behind the hotel, fire alarm went off at 4am and was directed by clear and kind staff, 10/10 experience will definitely book again.

The location of the rooms are absolutely spot on and in reach of plenty of Southport sights. Very warm welcome from all the staff we came across and a lovely gesture of 10% off in the bar for hotel guests. Room was well stocked with tea and coffee, nice and warm and very clean.

The mattress was very firm - but this is personal preference. There is limited bathroom privacy if travelling in a pair due to the sliding door in the standard double room.
