This hotel is exceptionally clean. The host Cliff goes above and beyond, nothing is too much, I will definitely be returning and this hotel will be the only one I will be using. Breakfast is always a very important part of my stay wherever I go and cliffs wife makes the perfect breakfast, with so much choice and everything being top quality, also all food made fresh to order 😋. Our bed was very comfortable, the room was modern done out to a high standard with all the extras. Free onsite parking. Absolutely loved this stay

Absolutely nothing, loved everything

We were in Southport for a wedding, so didn't spend much time at The Leicester itself, but I would definitely recommend it! Cliff and Jayne were lovely and allowed us to check in early before we headed to the wedding, which was much appreciated. The bed was super comfy and breakfast was delicious. Great location in Southport, close to the beach, attractions and the town centre.

The parking set-up meant we had to disturb another guest's breakfast to be let out of our parking space, but it was a minor inconvenience and understandable given the great central location.

Very friendly greeting. The B&B was immaculate throughout, clean and comfortable. Everything you could ask for. All the facilities were great quality and it was obvious that every aspect of providing a comfortable stay had been thought through and delivered. Breakfast was also lovely. Probably the best sausages I've ever had, sourced from local butchers. The bed was sooo comfortable, though the mattress was softer than what I am used to, the linen and pillows were quality. I didn't want to get out of bed.

There wasn't anything to not like

Chris and Jayne have a wonderfully kept establishment. Very clean and my room was perfect. The breakfast was plentiful, cooked to order and delivered with copious cups of fresh ground coffee and wonderful humour.

Access to all bedrooms is via the main stairway. Absolutely fine for me but sadly my wife wouldn’t be able to manage the stairs. I say this with a heavy heart because she would have loved the decor and the friendliness of the owners.

The hotel is in a great location just off the main road through town, it has parking on site, The breakfasts were excellent, freshly made to order with a great choice on offer. My room was of a very good standard with a very comfy bed, plenty of tea and coffee. Vey good shower.

There is nothing that I did not like about staying at this hotel. Looking forward to my next stay

Lovely hotel with helpful owners The bedroom was light and airy with hospitality tray, iron/ ironing board, safety deposit box and complementary bottles of water. The breakfast was lovely, local produce and cooked to order.

The only negative was the noise from the road from our bedroom. Having said this, we wanted to have the windows open but we could have closed the windows and used the cooler unit that was available. Qaqq la

TheLeicester was lovely and warm, the room was cosy and inviting. cliff went above and beyond with Jane doing the breakfasts whilst their daughter was poorly. It’s the second time we have been and it won’t be the last because we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves.

Going home, seriously we could of stayed another night and chilled because we are always working.

the food was fantastic easily the best ive had this year and the staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was warm and comfy and quiet so i slept fairly well, the location was pretty ideal for the beach

couldn't really fault the hotel itself the only downer for me personally were the numerous razor shells on the beach

Breakfast was lovely and beautifully presented. The hosts could not do enough for you and very friendly. Brilliant location, just round the corner from Lord Street. The rooms were decorated to a very high standard and you could not fault anything. Bed was too hard for my liking but this was a personal preference and in no way a reflection of the accommodation. 5 Star!

A Wonderful breakfast individually cooked, nothing was to much trouble. Our host, Cliff, was a font of information , he even found a suitable hairdresser for my wife. The Leicester's position was just right for us, a short walk to Lord street.

The only thing that could have been better was the weather. But even Cliff couldn't fix that ! ! ! A wonderful stay in a lovely B&b
