It was in a great location and the check in when seamlessly with a very friendly person checking in. Room was beautifully dressed and decorated. It had a great shower which was very spacious. The room was a little small, but we had no complaints until we went to bed.

The bed looks amazing and was dressed well, but the mattress (two twin mattresses) was so uncomfortable. Definitely needed replacing which hopefully they will have done by now. The only other thing that was the room layout wasn’t very accommodating for a woman wanting to put make-up on and dry her hair in front of a mirror.

The rooms are ideally located to use the facilities in Birkdale Village, free car parking can be arranged and conveniently located for the train station. The staff are always really friendly and really want to help, nothing is too much trouble. There was a reed defuser in the room that makes the rooms smell beautiful, I bought 3 of these defusers from Sally B’s shop which is next door to the rooms - they had a fantastic range of products and the staff were great too.

Second time we have stayed in the same room and we couldn't fault it. Lovely decor, comfortable bed, tea & coffee-making facilities (really lovely cups and saucers!) and everything spotlessly clean. Staff are lovely and so very helpful. We had a minor issue which Dicky sorted out in 2 minutes - fabulous. Breakfasts in the Bar N'ista are superb and we were lucky to have had a lovely sunny day and so enjoyed sitting outside watching the world go by. We'll be back.

I needed to bring my own pillows as I like to sleep higher and prefer soft full pillows - but hubby found the ones provided just fine. Personal preference really.

Great location with very close and easy access to Southport and Ainsdale that is linked by a very convenient bus and train station that are both less then a minute walk from N’Ista. The cafe/bar connected to the accommodations was very convenient and I was offered a discount on breakfast , etc.

Slight issues with the TV signal/reception, but nothing that impacted with any significance on my stay.

Clean, warm and nicely decorated. Shower room was modern and the shower very good. Very good location in the village. Host was excellent - gave clear information about parking (across the road) and accessing the room.

Room was a little bit small and the shower room was very small - but not a problem for an overnight stay.

Perfect location, loved the cafe vibe of birkdale and minutes away from southport which is walkable

Nothing not to like, room was cosy, the ensuite was small but everything functional. As the rooms are above a cafe bar be prepared for music if you are early to bed. Definitely my first option for future stays.

The host is wonderful- welcoming and helpful. I stayed in the ‘pod’ room. Very comfortable for one person but would be tight for two. Really comfortable and clean room. Very fast WiFi. Powerful shower. Comfortable bed and fluffy towels.

Had to wait 2-3 minutes for the hot water to come on every time but there was plenty of it. The ‘key slot/electric switch’ gizmo seemed faulty. Electricity regularly cut out but for less than a second

Stayed over night for a festival, travelled by train the hotel is 1 minute walk from there 5 minutes taxi in to Southport, very clean ,lovely staff , great boutique room comfortable, also has a bar/bistro down stairs all round excellent and would definitely stay again 😊

Close to train station. Lovely staff. Nice area, felt safe. Room was spotless but a little tight in the bathroom. Busy bar downstairs and a little noisy til late but nothing major. Would stay again - thank you !

The location is great for very frequent trains in and out of Southport and to the many points of interest on the Sefton coastline. The room was very small but well designed. Very convenient for small grocery shops, cafes, a pub and a chippy.
