Stayed in the Aston Suite, truly spoilt will never book just a hotel room again.Fantastic stay. Everything was perfect, by far the nicest and cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in. Facilities are outstanding. The shared kitchen was amazing, and we wanted for nothing. The most comfortable bed we have slept in away from home, comfy pillows. Sofas in lounge great. Bathroom outstanding, plenty of nice white fluffy towels, perfect location is so handy for all our needs, great pubs and eating establishments within easy walking distance, fantastic shops and supermarkets nearby by. Owners are the most friendly and accommodating couple you could wish to meet nothing too much trouble, not that we had any issues, but I am sure if we did, they'd have dealt with them promptly. Can't wait to be back in August Thank you for a wonderful stay x
Everything was perfect . No complaints at all 👌

On the day of arrival, we had a text message advising the code for the door, the room number, where our room was located and WiFi password. On arrival, there was plenty of parking, although some spaces were quite tight and some people's parking was not the greatest. The hotel was lovely and welcoming. Our room was clean and spacious. The hotel is perfectly situated just outside of town, only a few minutes walk away. We did not experience any noise. The facilities are great.Even though we did not meet the owners , we were given phone numbers should we have needed to contact them.We would definitely recommend and will return.
Our room could have done with lamps or side lights by the bed along with more plug sockets. Coat hooks on the door would have been helpful as there weren't any in the bathroom to hang towels.

Absolutely everything about our stay was as near to perfect for us as it could be. The position is as near to the centre of Southport and all its attractions as is possible. Parking is a major plus to us when staying somewhere unfamiliar and the car park is huge, plenty of places. Our room had all we could have needed with shower, kettle & most importantly a really comfortable double bed! The owners were lovely, friendly and warm and tried to make our stay as good as possible. The kitchen rooms on the ground floor are incredible with ovens, hobs, fridges and sinks to prepare meals in, Jamie and the rest of many celebrity chefs would be well impressed! Would we return? Oh, aye, in an instant!
Don't be silly about what we didn't like! Answer:- nothing.

Stayed here for 3 nights for new year and it's a lovely clean hotel in a great location, close to all shops, bars and restaurants. Rooms are very nice with lovely clean bedding and towels, added bonus was the communal kitchen with several cookers, fridges and cupboards and a dining room, all spotlessly clean. Plenty of free parking spaces available. Communication with the owners was great and they were on hand for anything required. Although this is a fairly large hotel it was lovely and quiet and we would definitely stay here again.
Shower wasn't very hot and bathroom had a bit of drainage smell but our friends in a different room said theirs was fine so probably just our room as we were at the end. Lighting wasn't great just a bit too dull. Suggestion only: could do with a few hooks for coats and towels, a bit more shelving, a set of draws and maybe bedside lamps. Not complaining though as I would still stay here again.

The quiet location was a very short walk from the centre of town. There was plenty of off road parking. The accommodation was nicely presented and stylish. Everything in both the room and communal spaces was exceptionally clean. The bedroom and en-suite were modern and comfortable. Although we didn’t use them, the large, modern, very well-equipped kitchen and dining room were immaculate. All the other residents were polite, quiet and respectful. And, most importantly, Debbie and her staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly.
There’s nothing we didn’t like, but the simple addition of bedside lamps would have made the room perfect!

Fabulous little hotel in a prime quiet location just a couple of minutes walk to the town centre. The room (Aston Suite) was just WOW! So much space and wonderfully furnished and decorated to a very high specification. So much Love and attention to detail is very much in evidence at every turn. The bathroom is to die for as is the beautiful lounge area. The pictures online do not do it justice! They also have a communal kitchen which has everything you could want or need and a lovely little seating area to enjoy your freshly prepped food. We had only planned to stay for 1 night in southport which is a shame as we would have loved to have had a longer stay at this gorgeous address. We could have moved in and lived here given the chance! Myself and my wife would absolutely recommend this warm homely hotel for anybody wishing to have a wonderful stay in a lovely bustling town with great nightlife. Thank you very much Debbie & Ken for a most memorable stay. Warmest Regards David & Claire
Everything was truly spot on!! Impossible to fault.

Loved the property soon as you walk in feels very homely room was perfect immaculately clean. Kitchen facilities were perfect really enjoyed cooking in there. My wife particularly loved the chesterfield chairs in the main lobby as you enter. The bed was super comfortable we had a great nights sleep. Great instructions for entering the property and superb communication from the hosts. It is also perfectly located close to local amenities and a 5 minute walk from Lord street. We would both love to stay again it was the perfect little getaway. Thank you
Absolutely nothing to dislike it was perfect

Free parking was a life saver, so close to the town centre and the beach we walked everywhere. The self check in was fantastic and so easy! The communication with Deb and Ken was great, even got a text the day of check in with loads of handy info and they gave me their direct contact details if I ever needed them. This place exceeded all expectations from when we first opened the main door, spa music greeted us which was a great touch! The kitchen had everything we could need, plenty of seating area, the whole place was sparkling clean and tidy and so fresh! The bedroom was lovely, bed was so comfy! Fresh, clean and even provided bottled water. With pin operated main door, CCTV throughout and the general feeling.. this place was so safe I am booking back for my solo trips to visit family!
Nothing!

From the get go we had a great time. Easy to get to location, free on site parking and very clear instructions on how to get into the hotel and where to find our room. The whole place is clean and tidy. The room was fab, clean and spacious. The bed was comfy, the shower was spot on. Love the kettle, need to know where they got it from! We didn't cook but got a pizza delivered which was super handy, we ate in the dining room area which had plenty of space and we kept our drinks in the fridge in the kitchen. Next time we will cook as the kitchen has all cooking equipment and is a lot bigger than mine at home. Check out was super easy too. Have already booked again but this time we've booked the suite as had a glimpse of it as someone else was going in.
To be honest there was nothing to complain about.

I had travelled down by train to attend a function at The Atkinson and needed an overnight stay in Southport.I had selected The New Talbot Hotel on the basis of excellent guest reviews in Booking And Tripadvisor. The hotel is very distinctive from the outside with a frontage that has clearly been thought about. An unattended keyless security system lets you into a very clean modern vestibule. My double room was on the first floor and is beautifully appointed. The heating was on (welcome!) and the room contained everything a traveller would need. Tips for other travellers The Hotel has parking for some cars but I had come by train so my remarks reflect that. From the station on foot it is a 10-15 minute walk, easily done. I didn't sample any fine dining as I was going out for the evening but I did pop into Wetherspoon's which is on Lord Street five minutes from the Hotel. In the morning I took myself for a very long walk around the Marine Lake which on a fine spring morning was perfect.
Nothing at all - a perfect stay!
