Fabulous,very stylish decor,warm room.Short walk to the train station,5/10 min depends how you're walking to the famous Luis I Bridge and the city centre.Tasty breakfast and traditional we really recommend ,will set you up for the day.Bruno and Lucie very attentive host, always smiling and give tips where to go easy communication from the start,easy check in and check out.I had a nice suprise for my birthday that was a really nice gesture from them and appreciated very much. We travel alot and this was one of the best experiences we've had.

We choose this place as it is in the quieter Gaia side, and a short walk to the Pon Luis bridge, also a few mins walk to the metro, the street is unsuspecting, the door is nearly grand, when you enter the building is cleverly refurbished using many old features, the room is comfortable, the shower is good, water and WiFi provided, the breakfast area is small and has many of the old refurbished features, breakfast is fresh and very fine, there is a small terrace with a pool ( used it previously not this time) a suntrap and shelter Hidden gem

The place is beautiful decorated, only a few rooms so It does not get Crowded!! That is amazing. The location is great and the price is fair. Also the rooms are nice and clean.

Small things that can be changed, so the place can be 10/10. No proper curtains, so light came inside the room around 7 in the morning and I couldn't sleep at all. If you aren't able to rest properly ....it will destroy the whole experience because you are tired all day. Another little thing was not letting us know that cleaners will come inside the room....it really bother us because I left things on the bed I didnt want to be touch by a stranger. They could let us know or leaving a sign "do not disturb" inside the room so we could have use it.

The outside space was amazing! We arrived on a hot Festival weekend in Porto (which surprised us as we hadn’t known beforehand about it!). The streets were fun and busy and having this outdoor space to sit and cool off and have our drinks in the pool was fantastic - and well needed. We were a group of 3 ladies on our bi-annual girls trip and the room was large, 1 sofa bed, 1 king for 2 of us to share. Loved the decor and great to have air conditioning in the hot evenings whilst getting ready. Bruno and his family were absolutely lovely and so welcoming. Brit I was always around to offer a guide of where to go, places to see, eat! Lovely basic continual breakfast - Sundays “Gods bread” (like coconut brioche/pan-atone) and the coffee were my favourite! The accommodation was close enough to everything in the city but far enough away to enjoy its space. Thank Bruno and family for help making our girls weekend fabulous!

Great location, good restaurants near by, near metro stop and close to few view points. Bruno, the Host, is very kind and helpful - he recommend some visit points and restaurant spots with a map. Apartment is located in silent area with a pool. Room was clean and comfortable

WiFi connection: very weak signal in room, good in the dinning room an on the pool. Breakfast menu is prepared by the Host, not possible to choose from different menu sets (but in the begining you can exclude allergic ingredients or those which you just don't like). However food was fresh and a little different menu each day

Location!!! Walking distance to everything you could need, wonderful hosts and very tasting breakfast! Great communication and easy instructions for checking in and checking out. Bruno also had many recommendations for the area based on what you like to do! Will certainly go back! Clean, private, comfortable and lots of space.

Parking is limited, but available. If I wasn’t traveling to other cities I would not have rented a car because you don’t need one with this location!

Our host Bruno and his lovely family couldn't have been more helpful. Communication with Bruno prior to our arrival was excellent. We arrived on a dreary evening and we were not up to exploring very far. Bruno recommended some very local eateries, and the BBQ place we went to was great. Thanks Bruno! Bruno also took time to explain the local area and make recommendations for how we might spend our days in Porto. He gave us a map and marked helpful information on it. Every day over our delicious fresh breakfast we'd talk about the day ahead and he'd ask how our previous day had been. We couldn't have had a nicer host. We really enjoyed being able to chat with other guests too, over breakfast. It reminded me of my months travelling a few years ago when staying in hostels. One of my favourite things about travel is meeting other people!! The accommodation itself was beautiful and it was clear that a lot of work had gone into making it such a lovely guest house. I liked the staircase and the art and collectibles that adorned the walls and landings. The room was spacious and well designed. It was a nice space to relax in. The pool and patio were a lovely bonus, particularly for my mum who needed a half day of rest. On our last day Bruno gave us breakfast to go as we had an early train to catch. It was one of his delicious home made cakes!! Yum!! I wish we had had longer in Porto, partly because there's a lot to see, and it's such a picturesque city, but mostly because we loved our stay here. I wouldn't hesitate to return. The only thing that was a struggle for my mum was the stairs, but Bruno carried our cases up and down, so that solved the biggest concern. We knew there was no lift, so this is not a complaint. More to highlight how great Bruno was!!

Excellent location with a short (300m) walk to Av de Republica where the metro runs and which leads to Ponte Luis Bridge. You are close to the tourist areas but staying in a quiet non-touristic area. The room was very quiet. Stylish decor. The bed was large and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Delicious continental breakfast. Bruno is an excellent host. When we arrived he gave us a lot of advice on where to go and what to do and was always willing to answer any questions. This was so helpful on our 1st time visiting Portugal.

If you are searching for a comfortable and clean accommodation near the Porto city center with lovely interior, don't look any further. The b&b is a short walk away from the main bridge, the wine cellars, the old town on the other side of the river. We had the big room with pool view and it was very nicely decorated, had a comfortable bed, nice bathroom, a very! comfy couch, TV with EN channels, a fridge and a kettle. All new and clean. A great choice for longer stays (we stayed for about 10 days). The pool is great too, located on a cozy terrace. The owners serve a breakfast menu in the morning including some pastry sweet and salty, ham, cheese, jam and fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. They will prepare the beverage of your choice (types of coffee/tea). What we loved were the owners though. They are so friendly, helpful and patient. They really try to make your stay amazing. You have all the privacy you need but they are constantly approachable. I highly recommend staying at this place and would be happy to stay here again. Big thanks for the good care.

Bruno was an exceptionally attentive and helpful host. The entire house is very beautiful and clean. The room was tastefully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The street is quiet, so we got a good night sleep, and the breakfast was fantastic. The location is super for exploring the Port wine quarter and the Old Town. Everything can be reached on foot, and a tram (Metro) stop is just down the road.

There is nothing not to like about this place and its location. We would have stayed longer if our holiday had been longer. Definitely somewhere to return to.
