Amazing views, especially watching the sun set! The room, facilities and breakfast options were perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful - I guess it helped going during off-peak season. The hotel is very central, walking distance to a lot of places, including the beach :) I would definitely return!

Wish they catered more for special dietary requirements.

The hotel is located between 2 nice beaches, Trou aux Biches and Mon Choisy Beach, both within walking distance of the hotel (1-5min). A bus stop is also very close to the hotel so you can easily get to Grand Baie for example (10-15min by bus for @0.7euro/pers). All staff members were friendly and helpful. We encountered no problems at all, they all spoke English and French so communication wasn't an issue. The rooms were cleaned daily and we received 2 bottles of freshwater each day (0.5l), which was nice. The restaurant is positioned towards the ocean so you can enjoy a nice view, especially of the sunset. The a la carte menu had enough options to choose from and everything we ordered was great, well prepared, tasty and at reasonable prices (same prices as everywhere else on the island). We requested a late checkout @16:00, but unfortunately no rooms were available so we were given the option to use the hotel bathroom and towels, free of charge, which allowed us to enjoy our last day in Mauritius on the beach. We did not discuss this in advance with the hotel staff so it was nice of them to accommodate our request.

The beach right in front of the hotel is not very nice and there are no stores nearby, not a bad surprise as we knew this when we made our reservation but you need to keep this in mind if you don't rent a car. The breakfast however was not great, with only a few options to choose from and the dishes/food containers were old and some broken. The toaster had seen far better days. With a small investment this could be sorted out and I hope this gets improved as it drags the overall image of the hotel down.

Awesome Value for money, not to be discussed. Staff is remarkable. Localization is beautiful, with an unforgettable beach view. The Hotel is very cozy and welcoming, at "human" size.

I took Breakfast and dinner included, everything is of high quality, however the choice is a bit limited, that would be my only con. It is both a good thing, to avoid waste, that the breakfast is not a "buffet" type, but also a bit redundant day after day with the choices given. I do understand as well that the Hotel is a "boutique" type, and "only" 3 stars, but it was definitely lacking amenities and activities, nothing even suggested at the front desk, no brochures of things to do around as other hotels usually do, which I was expecting upon arrival, but hen again, I planned nothing and expect this upon arrival, that is just my way of doing, still worth mentioning in my opinion.

The hotel is truly beautiful, offering stunning views and exceptionally comfortable rooms. Staff went above and beyond with personal touches, including accommodating an early check-in and late checkout. The fresh fish dishes were delicious, and I appreciated the availability of almond milk for my morning cappuccino. The location is perfect - nestled between two magnificent beaches (Mont Choisy right next door and Trou aux Biches just a pleasant 15-20 minute coastal walk away), making it an ideal spot for beach lovers.

Despite being advertised as having high-speed WiFi, the connection wasn't sufficient for video conferencing, even after staff helpfully switched me to a faster network. The restaurant menu could benefit from more green salad and vegetable options. Additionally, a safety concern: I learned from another guest to avoid swimming in the rocky section of beach in front of the hotel due to possible stonefish - a warning sign would be helpful for guest safety.

From check in to check out everything was perfect. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Super friendly throughout. The breakfast was superb and didn't get boring during our 10 day stay. We also enjoyed many lunches and dinners in the most beautiful setting. The rooms were cleaned and freshened daily. Mount Choisy beach is one of the most beautiful on the island and we were lucky to be right on it. Beach access for swimming is a short walk but a beautiful one. I would come back here in a heartbeat

Maybe the balconies in the rooms could be rendered useful with a small table and a couple of chairs

The staff were superb. Extremely polite and very helpful. The hotel is located close to Gran Baie and the beach but you definitely need a car or transport to get about. The hotel is right on the beach. Stunning views

We had a wonderful balcony with views over the beach but no seats on the balcony or anywhere to sit. Despite airing the room continuously there was a strong smell of cigarettes/snoke on the curtains/room. They obviously encourage smoking as there was an ashtray in the room. As non smokers this was particularly unpleasant. I’d urge them not to allow smoking in the rooms. They were told and attempted to use some spray, but the curtains would need washing to remove the strong odour. The breakfast included was modest. The portion sizes were small. We had some disturbed sleep which wasn’t anything the hotel could do. Our room overlooked the beach/car park and someone decided to set off fireworks at 3am then the other nights dogs were barking in the night.

The hotel is on the beach with a really nice view, rooms are nice and clean. Restaurant and bar are amazing. The staff are really friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was very tasty, a three course menu was available for dinner (half board). The sky bar offers a beautiful view of the sunset. The Mont Choisy public beach is right next to the hotel, it is very long so you have a lot of space for yourself, there are also trees that provide shade. You can buy local food, drinks and ice cream on the beach. Bus station is right next to the hotel.

There are no shops or markets nearby so you have to go by bus or taxi.

Probably the best location in Mon Choisy, overlooking the beautiful beach, really lovely landscaping within the palm trees. The facilities are great to have on site, with pool, loungers, rooftop bar and restaurant. Reception staff were fantastic and really helpful. The rooms were really well sized with great bathrooms and always kept clean to a really high standard. The bar and restaurant team were really responsive to feedback.

Probably one of the smallest of things, not really an issue as I didn't want to watch TV, but the TV in my room didn't have good reception and it wasn't a smart TV, so no option for Netflix etc.
