We loved our stay at Le Franschhoek Hotel and Spa. From the moment we arrived we were taken care of by really friendly and polite staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely with a sitting room and small kitchen and a lovely bathroom. The bed was super comfortable. The housekeeping was excellent and our bed was turned down with a chocolate on our pillow each night! The breakfast was honestly one of the best breakfasts we have experienced in a hotel, and we travel world wide a lot. Really delicious and a massive choice. Also the spa was incredible and I had the best massage I have ever had. (and I have had many) Finally, the free shuttle service at any time you needed it, to take you into Franschhoek was the cherry on the top. Such lovely drivers who were so friendly and knowledgeable about restaurants etc. They even booked the restaurant for us on the way in. All you had to do was then send a whats app message to ask to be picked up when you were ready, and they were there within a few minutes. Fantastic service! All in all a fabulous stay and we will be back for sure.

We stayed here for a couple of nights, and the hotel and staff exceeded our expectations in every way. Our villa was incredibly spacious, and we were fortunate to have two rooms—perfect for ensuring a restful night’s sleep, especially since my husband snores! The food was absolutely sublime. Breakfast was a particular highlight—we highly recommend the Morgan Stack! We also had the pleasure of dining at their restaurant, Sauvage, where the exquisite cuisine truly impressed us. The hotel made our honeymoon extra special with thoughtful personal touches, including a beautifully handwritten card. These little details meant so much to us. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to others.

The pool is great and the mainreason for us to come back. Big problem with the lack of sunbeds - it is just not good enough that is is an issue finding a sunbed in such a hotel. Food has become much much better since we were here 3-4 years ago. Service in general is good, but still some of the bad habits with 30 people working but very specific tasks so you can end up waiting for a very long time for eg. your bill, eventhough 10 other waiteres are not bussy.

Thank you for our amazing stay - staff so friendly and helpful - they assisted us with a great dinner reservation for a birthday celebration! Breakfast was delicious with wonderful options to be enjoyed - such a great way to start the day! The setting and the view is spectacular and the free shuttle service to Franschhoek is so convenient. Definitely will come back again - over and over again :)

The staff member at reception picked up that it was my birthday and suprised me with a beautiful plate of cakes and complimentary sparkling wine in our room. The hotel overall was amazing. The pool facilities and jacuzzi was a dream to relax at. The breakfast buffet was expectional and the staff were super kind. We didnt have a car and they offered us a shuttle to town and back for a small fee. The bungalow was beautiful and well cleaned. We couldnt have wished for a better stay!

I wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely coming back!

We were there to celebrate my partner's birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make him feel special! The breakfast was amazing - some exciting and different options to choose from on the hot breakfast. The shuttle into town is also great while in wine country. Overall, we loved our time there!

It was our 3rd time staying here. Everything was excellent and just as we remembered. We were suprised with a birthday greeting from the kitchen at breakfast. The room was welcoming, neat and clean. The jacuzzi and pool area a favourite. We also visited the in-house restaurant Sauvage which was a superb dining experience. Also huge compliments to the staff which is kind and professional. Overall charming as ever!

I have nothing to fault. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

Our reservation which we had changed had not been updated on the system, although I had received confirmation of the new dates. We therefore had to wait for the manager to come to the desk (we were given a glass of bubbles) to check the system and look at my confirmation Once she arrived we had to wait whilst she went and checked another system before she came back and said the reservation manager had not altered our booking on their system but would do her best to find us a room. We had paid in advance for the room. Anyway we got a room in the end.

It’s a big friendly hotel, with plenty of facilities. It’s an a stunning setting overlooking the Franschhoek mountains. I had a beautiful large room over looking the mountains under a tall thatched roof. Service was fantastic and breakfast was plentiful with a great variety of choices. I loved lying by the pool and relaxing. Perfect for a few days of alone time.

The pool was smaller than it looks in the photos. You have to swim a little of lengths to cover any distance. Perfect for just relaxing.
