The room was exceptionally clean, and everything was functional! Even the mini fridge, which in many motels is broken, and/or extremely noisy, worked very well and was QUIET. The room looked like it had been recently updated. The motel was also very quiet - I didn't expect that.

Only two unfortunate things: the sink's faucet/tap handles was loose against the stone countertop. Touching them made them slip around - if I'd had my tools, I would have reached under and tightened them. Also, for some reason, the bathroom reeked of cigarettes, but it's a no-smoking motel. Maybe cigarette smoke from outside comes in through the fan's ductwork?

Super cute and does look newer/updated for some parts. The fridge was a lot bigger than what is in most hotels (not full size but not the small cabinet fridges in a lot of hotels). Location is super close to the north redwoods here and to everything in crescent city itself.

Light bathroom is unfortunately the one that also turns on the fan but that’s just a personal annoyance thing for me. No peephole on the door. Office sign said they close at 10pm so if you are arriving later may want to contact them first. You can hear a lot from outside and some from other rooms but it wasn’t too bad. Also would like another latch or something other than the normal door lock.

Room was clean. Two queen beds which were pretty hard. Quite outdated but OK for one night. Had a fridge so we could chill more water for our ice chest. Able to park right outside the room. AC worked well. Close to Hwy 199 so we were able to tour part of the redwood forest after we checked in.

They had top sheets tucked into the mattress, and they came untucked during the night, so I was stressed about touching the mattress.... Price was a high for such a basic place. I realize it's tourist season so there weren't very many lower cost hotels available, but for a few more dollars I could have stayed at a place down the road that had a sea view and breakfast... Live and learn!

Very Clean. Usually with motels, I expect there to be a "permissible" level of filth and this place was very clearn.

Very well maintained and clean, interior and exterior. Spotless inside, including edges and corners, which is rare. Refrigerator has separate freezer, which some places don't. Just very clean, no smells. Very friendly and efficient front desk.

Same as most motels, no sound proofing between rooms. Awakened very early with loud talking next door and plumbing noise from showers. Ice machine not working.

when we arrived booking had messed up our reservations and the lady at the desk was so kind to try to fix it and made sure we had enough rooms for our group. Beds were comfortable and it was a quiet location conveniently located to many things you could walk to. Might need a little updating but I would stay here again. Thank you to the staff for fixing Bookings mess up on our reservation.

Easy check in, lots of parking in front of room, very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to stores, restaurants, and highway. Snacks available in the morning. Beds were comfortable.

Walls very thin so you hear everything next door. Bed sheets are old so they're stained and the soft blanket is.. crusty. The room smelled of smoke though all rooms are supposed to be smoke free. One bed smelled cleaned but the other bed comforter smelled of smoke. Front desk changed it immediately which was nice, but the new one smelled of wet dog. My son got a good laugh at me. So i removed the duvet of the smoke one and it was mostly ok. Highway noise is loud all night but we sleep with white noise so we didn't notice it.

When you get a good price for a room, you always wonder, will it be subpar. But the room was clean and nice and it had all the amenities I needed without any extra charges. Check in was quick and efficient. There was parking right by my room which made unloading and loading very easy. There was a big TV in the room with a great selection of channels. The bed and pillows were comfy and there were plenty of towels.

The fan on the heater/AC unit was pretty loud and kept me up for a bit as it cycled on and off. The inn is also on a main road so there is some traffic noise, but it’s not bad.

Although its an older motel it is clearly very well managed. Front line staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very well presented and very clean. They have you sign an agreement about no smoking, no visitors, etc. to ensure a nice quiet comfortable stay.

Nothing. Breakfast items could be on the healthier side as packaged pastries aren't great. Some fruit would be nice.

Easy to check in. Good staff recommendation for breakfast. Room was what expected. Location convenient, right off highway 101.

Faucet on sink was loose and needed to be secured. It shifted several inches in each location. Still worked though.
