We did a round trip around Indonesia and this was by far our best hotel experience! The rooms were beautiful, very clean, the pool very nice and sourrounded by trees! The staff was also tidying the room two times per day which was very nice to see and preparing our breakfast everyday in the morning and serving it on our terrace. The location is far away from the busy center of the island so it s perfect if you re looking for something more quiet! Everything is easily reachable with a bicycle! But the thing that stood out the most for us was the owners of course! Very friendly and kind and always there to help us organize everything, from bikes, to tours, to ferry tickets etc.. we also tried all of their restaurant recommendations and they were all spot on!! Great experience! Keep up the good work guys 😊

Amazing accomodation with a great and helpful host and staff. The accommodation itself was perfect.

We would prefer to have a small cupboard in the room. Otherwise the location is not great as all around (to no fault of the accomodation) it's quite dirty and there are no lights outside. Therefore, it's hard to find in the night and you have to have some light on your bike or phone. Also you will hear the prayers from the mosque, which at 4 am is quite annoying.

Daniel and his team are the best hosts you can ever wish for. He took care of everything and made sure we were as relaxed as possible. The houses are so nice and the verandas are a great extension of your living space. Here you can relax, play a game or read a book. We had such a good time here, could not wish for anything better. It’s such a quiet place to stay on this island.

Daniele was the perfect host, so all the people in this cozy and peaceful hotel, always ready to help and make my stay feeling like be at home. Nice garden and swimming pool, the bathroom always clean and very large. Wonderful breakfast! The location Is also perfect, on the "Sunset" side of the Island, near everything. Wifi fast and super AC are a plus! Thank you guys! I will be back!

This place has such a warm and inviting atmosphere, thanks to the efforts of the staff who make you feel like at home. It's very clean, with cozy cottages nestled among the greenery. The location is perfect - quiet close to both the city center and the sea. I want to say big thanks to Daniel and his team! They provide an incredible service, with every detail carefully considered. Enjoying breakfast on our own private terrace was the best experience we’ve ever had—delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back! P.S. The only thing this place is missing is some adorable cats

Nothing, everything was perfect

This is one of the most magical places I’ve stayed. Daniel and his team make you feel so looked after. The main strip of the island is so busy now that staying at villa lighthouse on the quieter side was PERFECT. You can rent the bikes from the property and be on the main strip in 10 minutes then retreat back to the calm oasis once you are done. One of our favourite bits about the Gillis was cycling around everywhere. We were served a simple but delicious breakfast every morning on our balcony with the sounds of the birds and all the greenery around, it was so wonderful. I did not want to leave. I hope I will be back one day. ❤️

Exquisite this balance that is present, a minimalist comfort, in my opinion perfect for a tropical island. But primordial is nature, and the colors present that surround these Joglo and the sounds of the animals, beautiful. Excellent location, it is not facing the sea, so the chaos and noises are not present, very quiet, but 5 minutes on foot and less with a bike, you are at the sea, turtle point. Away from the busy beach areas, it was really lovely and quiet you could hear the birds and it was peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and the hosts were very nice. The pool was nice and large too and chill to read a book next to.

Our room looked directly at reception so didn’t feel super private and it would have been nice to have a mosquito net as there were a lot.

The hotel was located on the more quiet side of the island, perfect for relaxing! The owner, Daniele, had made the grounds absolutely breathtaking by planting so many beautiful flora and fauna 😍 Also he is super helpful and beyond kind. The room was cleaned on a daily basis and we also got fresh towels everyday 👌🏻

It is a quiet, small resort in a dense, lush garden. The garden villas are traditionally build and closely set but with enough privacy. The is a small dipping pool and the NW beaches are close if you rent a bike. Owner Daniel is super helpful with everything.

To conveniently reach the resort from the ferry, you need to take a horse cart (150K IDR for 2 p. 2025).
