I absolutely loved the location of Lumi! The staff were incredibly attentive, especially Sara and Jordy, who made my stay even more enjoyable. The design of the place was exactly as described, and despite the rain, I still had an amazing time. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I decided to extend my stay for another night. Highly recommend!

While I enjoyed my stay, I found that the layout and storage space in the room were a bit limited, though this could have been due to the amount of luggage I had. If you’re traveling light, this may not be an issue, but it’s worth considering if you have a lot of belongings. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would still recommend it!

I wish they had more variety for the breakfast buffet.

Fantastic experience! The hotel location is about 15mins away (horse carriage) from harbour, making it away from the pubs, offering a more tranquil and relax environment. It’s facing the beautiful beach, just across the street. The garden is well maintained. We even saw a wild deer enjoying his breakfast there in the morning. Oh have to mention the sun set view was superb! The staffs are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Cottage Rooms which were cozy and super clean, with Big and comfortable pillows! The breakfast had a few choices, and what we had was good. The free flow side dish was mainly pantry though (I would prefer more vege and fruits) Absolutely worth the money!!

You want for absolutely nothing. We stayed in one of the cottages and the design is amazing. It’s modern but authentic and blends in wth the surrounding nature, the photos on the web don’t do the rooms justice. It’s quiet especially at night, the pool is perfectly positioned over looking the ocean, an absolutely relaxing environment, with the most amazing sunsets from the beach. The food is good and of the 4 resorts we stayed in in Indonesia, it was the only one with sustainable practices. The staff last but not least get five plus stars.

Only problem was that we could not stay longer.

Lumi is situated on the west coast of the island, the quieter side if you’re looking to get away from the nightlife on the east coast. The hotel itself is a work of art and is gracious in size. The rooms arent massive but home a clean and comfy bed. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcone with excellent communication and an ability to remember your name and interests! I proposed to my girlfriend here and the staff made the process seamless by helping me set up a romantic dinner on the beach. They also have a live singer here most nights which is super fun. From the pool to the restaurant you will be cloaked in luxury.

What a spectacular view from the hotel. Only giving it a 9 as I'm a vegetarian and they had very limited food options. Other than that, perfect laid back vibe. If you have luggage, you'll have to get it all the way to the other end of the island, like any other hotel on this side The staff was so friendly. I especially remember Andy who always had a friendly smile. Close to other restaurants, which was important to me.

The most beautiful vacation spot in the most heavenly resort 🥰 my partner and I were absolutely impressed by the location, the beautiful grounds of this luxury hotel, the 2 stunning pools, the sensational breakfast, the exceptionally friendly staff... absolutely blown away by our extremely relaxing and comfortable stay. The grounds are beautifully kept, with many sun beds and hammocks to relax either by the pool or in the gardens. 2 beautiful pools, one facing the ocean with a swim up bar, the other surrounded by art. All so relaxing and peaceful. There was also a small gallery with beautiful art. The whole setting of the hotel is tasteful, beautiful and pleasing to the eye. The staff are beyond helpful, friendly and hospitable. You feel so welcomed! We had a lovely room with a nice hammock to relax, great air conditioning, very comfortable bed and pillows, nice hot shower. Everything was set out perfectly, very comfortable, clean, lovely and modern. Breakfast was so yummy, beautiful and perfectly baked pastries and a variety of yummy treats and drinks to choose from. Absolutely perfect location to capture the sunset in the evening, in easy walking distance from the open air cinema, lots of bars, restaurants and of course straight across from the beach! Also, free bike rentals here too! Absolutely recommend and thank you again 🥰

Beautiful infinity pool and garden area. The hotel located next to the beach in a calm and peaceful area. The breakfast was very delicious. Also highly recommended to try the restaurant. Our private villa was nicely furnished and it was very clean.

If you rent a scooter in the island, which is needed since the center area is 30-40 minutes walk, expect the hotel to charge you for recharging its battery, or just use a bike which is provided by the hotel. The staff was a bit pushy.

We loved the hotel! This hotel was the first leg of our holiday to Bali and it really did instantly send us into holiday mode and relaxation. It was a great layout and the infinity pool looking out to the beach was perfect. We loved being so close to other beach bars to wander and the free hotel bicycle rental was a good addition to be able to cycle round the island to explore as the island is small you could easily cycle anywhere. We certainly would come back to Gilli T and Hotel Lumi. Being set on the side of the island for sunsets it was great to wander along the beach and watch the sunset in a beautiful location so close to the hotel. Would recommend!!!

Hotel Lumi Gili Trawangan is perfectly located for a luxurious island escape. The property offers stunning pool views paired with a serene beach backdrop, making every moment picturesque. The food options were absolutely delicious, with a variety of flavors to suit every palate. Its proximity to the famous sunset point and just a few minutes by bike from Turtle Point made it incredibly convenient to explore the island’s best attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay.

It’s hard to find fault with this property! Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully designed for an exceptional experience.
