The staff were very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond and great to talk to, had a good laugh. We stayed in the villa which was very nice. Room very clean and cleaners were amazing tidying up the room everyday. Air conditioning very good. Two bottles of water given everyday. Lunch and dinner were really good. Signature cocktails were great. Beach area nice.

Noise in the morning from doors slamming as none of the doors have slam stoppers. We didn't enjoy the breakfast. Noise at 7am in the morning when the staff roll their trolleys past the villas enough to wake you up.

Sunset was lovely, movie was interesting. Concept good. Night Buffet needed a little more umphf. It was not as good as breakfast! Needed a good curry on the selection. My family choose pizza instead cos choice was not exciting on nite buffet! No fish or seafood considering island buffet. For breakfast, Chef came out of kitchen to the dining room and served us and many tables with pancakes n satay! Welcome gesture. Best Breakfast. He was very friendly and good food selections. :) Ride to hotel was interesting on horses. But we had to bargain a good price. Would have stayed 3 nites if they provided transport to town in the evenings. Too hard to ride those bikes in the sand and just too far to walk in the dark! Room was good. Beach was nice n clean in front of hotel as they sweep it. At sunset it is high tide and it comes up to the retaining wall of movie n outdoor buffet area. Was fun.

What a beautiful island and such a lovely property with great service and activities. We stayed here for 3 nights in the One bedroom Villa with a private pool. And mostly because of the amazing time we had at this island, we will definitely visit again and perhaps book the same hotel. They had movie screening each night which was fun and we could get our own snacks and drinks. They also offered free snacks at the lobby for everyone. Their breakfast was also great and it was well located to enjoy the beautiful sunset. It is on the other end of the harbour and the buzzing places there but the entire island is a 20 minute bicycle ride so it did not matter. It was in fact better that we got to enjoy the peace and quiet in the early and late hours of the day and it was not exceptionally crowded. I recommend this place.

Beautiful hotel, immediately across the road from a panoramic sunset beach, staff were amazing, helpful, cheerful, smiling and kind. Food was excellent, breakfast selection was varied, plentiful of high quality. There was outdoor movies on the beach every night and no problem getting tables or sun beds. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable, bed and bedding of high quality. Really, I liked everything about this hotel and would have happily stayed longer if I could. It’s in a quieter location on the island and that suited us fine. Bike and scooter hire is available outside the door. There is a supermarket on one side and an ATM on the other, so all our needs were met, would highly recommend

We stayed there 9 nights and had a wonderful time, will definitely come back! - Spacious rooms for a family of four (baby and toddler), the hotel kindly provided a baby cot and there is a window bench for my toddler in the room. - The staff was exceptionally wonderful and friendly, especially with our kids. When we left, they all came out to the front of the hotel to wave us goodbye, which was incredibly touching and memorable. - Excellent value for money - Good location - Nice sunbeds near the beach with ample shade - Breakfast included - Nice big swimming pool - Fun activities for kids : badminton, slides, swings etc

Loud music during sunset every evening, which disrupted the peaceful and magical sunset experience.

Had an absolutely amazing time at this resort. What we loved most was location, it was on the cleaner side of the island and there were many restaurants and resorts near by to check out. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, there is a 24/7 medical centre on the location, 1 second walk to the beach, the pool was a lot of fun, and the bedrooms were all stunning. We also enjoyed the free snacks and drinks which were constantly topped up during the day.

Can’t think of any negatives, it was a great experience

Hotel is on the quieter side of the island although that seems to be changing with the increased development going on. Staff are very friendly and sunsets are superb. The big screen film showings are also a good idea as are the free snacks. Cycle hire just outside the hotel was very convenient for getting around the island.

Breakfast was served indoors due to the rainy season. The food on offer was very similar each day and was not replenished quickly enough. Wi-Fi reception was poor and slow. The pool could get busy and noisy but beach just over the road so can easily find somewhere quieter.

The pool was a great size and the strawberry mojito were brill. The room was clean and spacious. We didn't try the breakfast as did other things so can't comment on that. The hotel is in the quieter part which I liked but you do need a bike to get around, prob 20 min bike ride to centre but plenty at hotel if you don't want to do that.

The cinema nights get rather busy so you do need to be there early, and I did think the hotel lent you the bike but they don't you have to pay the guy next door but great place to stay

Great stay at Aston. Perfect location with great view of the sea and sunset. Staff were all very friendly & helpful but especially Hadi, great man, thank you for your hospitality and friendliness. Villa was a great option with private pool but the hotel pool was also quiet so that suited us perfectly. Free outdoor movies on the beach at night was a great option..
