We come to Gili T all the time, previously have stayed in other resorts on the Island however noticed this resort had just opened up and decided to give it a go. I have to say I could not have been happier with this decision. The property is amazing really something that adds to the Island and is a different standard from what I have seen in my times visiting the Island. The resort was absolutely huge so we really felt like we had our privacy. The food was great which I feel is one of the most important aspects. The staff made the stay what it was. They were very attentive to all of my requests, one of the attendants that was serving me near the pool even knew my name and I had never met him before. The Sunset on this part of the Island is also one of the best I had seen. Not over crowded and was able to have a drink in my hand whilst watching it. Upon checking out we had planned to catch the Ferry to Lombok however the lady at reception offered us a shuttle service and a driver who was waiting for us on Lombok who took us to the airport. Nice extra that we didn't expect and hadn't been offered before which really made the trip easier. Was only there for a short time but plan to come back in a couple of months and can really put it to the test over a longer period.

Just wanted to mention as it is a new development there were a couple of teething issues when requesting things, you could tell the staff were new and had to work out some of the requests but the effort they put in definetly made up for this. I feel the couple of items will be better in a couple of weeks once the team gets into the flow of things but I really couldn't be too critical as I've traveled around the world and still had a better experience here over some of the bigger name brands that make you feel like you are just a number to them.

We had a room with it's own pool which was lovely and felt very luxurious. The main pool was great too - very shallow though, which some may like and some may not! . We had breakfast at the hotel once which was good and the restaurant was nicely decorated.

Wasn't too far from the main area, but next time we would book nearer as it was so hot so would have been a shorter walk. We went off season so it was quiet, but probably ended up lacking a bit of atmosphere

My experience at Cocana has completely turned my view of Gili hospitality upside down One of those rare cases where I had absolutely nothing to complain about. The hotel is brand new and clearly hungry to provide the best possible service. Key highlights: 1) Cocana is a boutique-level hotel, that easily competes with renowned 5-star franchises (W,Six Senses, etc.) and challenges the typical 'downshifters chill' vibe of Gili. 2) Everything is fresh and new, with a great focus on scents. 3) Design-wise - it's tasteful and cozy, without any gaudiness. 4) Attention to the little things: beach bags, eco-friendly cosmetics, comfy slippers, cozy robes, etc. 5) The staff is well-trained, and attentive without being overpleasing. Speaks English fluently, and is super responsive. 6) Their Mistral resto offers killer cocktails and exceptional prawn Gaspacho I couldn’t resist having every day for lunch. In sum, Cocana beats many fancy hotels in Bali that would charge you 3X more for no reason. On the last note, there's a cool private beach area, spa, and gym. Loved it and highly recommend it!

WiFi was good, but had interruptions during rainy days.

We loved everything about Cocana Resort, location, cleanliness, events such as complimentary yoga and special BBQ dinner nights with live music. The villa we stayed in was deluxe - everything had been thought of. Staff were lovely. Would recommend and stay again.

It’s a beautiful new resort with all the amenities you need for an amazing holiday on Gili T, the beach club will make it even better when it’s finished! Amenities are one thing, what made it for us were the staff…all of the staff were so attentive, friendly and welcoming. They helped with everything, provided what ever we needed to make our stay even more special.

Excellent stay in Gili T. The villa with the private pool was very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the privacy of it. The hotel location is great, on the "quieter" side of the island, perfectly positioned for stunning sunsets. The beach in front of the property is very pretty, specially in the mornings. Good restaurant, nice a la carte options for breakfast, on top of the buffet. The spa was also great. We really enjoyed our time there!

At one point I asked for a computer, for work reasons, but they have no business room. So there's that. But, well, I guess you shouldn't be worried about work on your vacation in paradise anyway...

The Cocana resort is a new facility in excellent condition. The one-bedroom pool villa we stayed in was very comfortable and quiet despite being close to several entertainment venues. The beach, beach bar and sunsets were a highlight. The staff were very friendly and always did their best to assist.

While it wasn't a negative for us, Gili Trawangan is very definitely a "party" island with lots happening especially in the evening and nighttime. The Cocana resort is located on the western side of the Gili which is relatively quieter than the eastern side.

The room... The food... The staff... All great....

I wished if I stayed longer

EVERYTHING! The facilities, the food, the cleanliness, the convenience, access to local amenities and location but what really made it was the hospitality of the staff. They were nothing short of amazing, I chose to spend my birthday here and couldn’t recommend it more. There were couples, families, groups of friends and it catered to all quite well. A special thanks to Rani who welcomes us upon arrival and even brought me lovely birthday bracelets, anything thing we wanted, she and the staff accommodated to the best of their ability. Also thank you to Faris and Rasfan for bringing me late night birthday cake and candles, I’ve travelled to many places but their warmth stole my heart! Thank you all so much!
