I stayed 4 nights at this great hotel and really enjoyed my time. The location is peaceful and away from the crowds, yet still close enough to reach the main areas easily. The restaurant is excellent, with a fantastic smoothie in the morning and a great burger in the evening, though service was a bit slow. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-cooled, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Special thanks from the bottom of my heart to Josh and Hardy for their amazing help and care on my last day — I truly appreciate it!

Just be aware that the last 50 meters to the hotel are on an unpaved dirt road without lighting, which can make access a bit inconvenient at night. Some minor maintenance issues and very slow Wi-Fi were the only downsides. Overall, highly recommended!

Paradise. The staff were from the first to the last AMAZING, polite, helpful, friendly and made sure that we were relaxed. The facility itself is glamours, chic and transmits tranquillity. Everything was spotless. The attention to detail and the use of eco products did not go unnoticed. Great restaurant onsite. Generous breakfast with good selection and possibility to change every day. . We did not want to leave, was by far the best accommodation we have ever stayed and we travel a lot around the world. Special mention to Muhid and Johan ( likely I misspelled the names, sorry) that were really kind and made us feel welcome at every time, we felt like at home. See you soon.

10/10 stay in this wonderful unique space . The staff were the warmest in all the places we’ve been in Indonesia .. Mehud amd Yos go out of their way to help with anything you need . They supplied us with super stylish bicycles . The gardens are gorgeous , I loved that this was away from the very busy and noisy main road and yet still close enough to cycle there within 2 minutes . The coffee and juices are excellent and we enjoyed the pool. Wake up to the sound of birds - we wish we could have stayed for longer .

Nothing at all.

Our son chose the property and at first we were a little sceptical about staying in a tent in a tropical climate. We shouldn’t have been. Wow what an amazing experience, we booked for 3 nights and stayed a week. The tents and bathroom were spotlessly clean (cleaned daily), the aircon did a great job of keeping the place lovely and cool and there were nice touches like a large water refill in the bathroom. The common area was so relaxed and such a lovely place to chill out. But best of all the AMAZING staff, we felt like we made some great friends and they were so wonderful with our son. Loved the cycle ride to the main strip 10mins across the island a chance to see everyday life. Really think it is one of the best stays for the money on Gili T. Thank you to the eco lodge family for making us feel so at home.

Fun family glamping experience. We stayed here 4 nights. Our daughters loved it. Super friendly staff. So helpful. Get Malik to organise any transportation you need, made everything so easy. The lay out of the property was beautiful. A lovely green oasis on a busy Island. We enjoyed cycling everywhere. Torch recommended for some parts of the Island at night. Also recommend the chicken cashew curry. So yum we had it every day.

I think maybe a sign politely asking all guests to be conscious of noise levels after 10pm would be nice. Tents are thin walls and we had to ask people to be quiet after midnight a couple of times.

Staff was very very nice, the location was great ("far" from the main street, so it is a quite spot for relax and it actually just take 3 minutes by bike to the sunset spots - where you can find restaurants,or like 8-10 minutes by bike to the centre). The hotel offers bikes to rent. Breakfast was good. Overall really happy with these glamping! Loved it!

Honestly, nothing worth mentioning... there were some mosquitoes on the surroundings... but you are in island and the tents are surrounded by trees and plants, what else would you expect?

The staff working here are absolutely wonderful, with excellent local knowledge. Nothing is too much trouble and they will go the extra mile to help. For example, booking trips, excursions and services, room service. I would highly recommend staying here in this peaceful location surrounded by nature. Please remember to be kind, tip the staff if you feel so inclined, they are often working long days and six days a week - rarely getting home to see family in Lombok.

Better pay and conditions for staff. Better treatment of staff by tourists, it takes nothing to be kind in life! Some further steps to sustainable tourism could be in place, such as timer on the shower / signs in the bathroom to ask guests to minimise water use. Towel change - a sign to inform guests that if they want a clean towel they can leave their towel on the floor. Turn off the air conditioning in the tents when not there - there is no need to leave air con running all day. Everything else was great and I would definitely recommend to other people.

Best in Giti Trawagan :-) Start with Muhid. Wow, he ensure we had a very smooth and clear check in. Made sure he explained everything before we got into the Glamping Always carried with his smile, though we could not get to meet post our first day. Wishing him the best and hoping to meet some time soon Next day Yos took over from Muhid since he was away for his weekly off, yet again a very sweet person. Even he ensured everything is looked after Both these guys are infectious with there smile, loved them both. Would like to add Josephine who is the Manager, while Yos was away she took over and ensured she came and reminded us on the Island Hoping which was booked. As soon as we came for our breakfast she ensured 3 Bicycles are ready Also want to add the Kitchen staffs, cant ask anything more while you get away from your busy schedule and when we surrounded with nice team of people Wishing this bunch of lovely people the best and hoping to meet them sometime soon ALL THE BEST TEAM Cheers Sharath

Should have stayed bit longer :-( THIS IS NOT NEGATIVE, FEEL BAD TO LEAVE SUCH NICE PLACE IN SHORT TIME WHICH WE DID NOT LIKE AS FAMILY

I cannot say enough good words of this property! Out of all the places we travelled to and all other glamping sites, this was by far our best stay. Deserves 5 stars if you ask me. This was another level. You will not go wrong if you book it. Even those skeptical to glamping will not dislike it as it is super comfy. Let me list just some of the incredible stuff: - beautiful luscious garden that turns magical at night - away from the crowd but still close enough to everything, it takes you 15 mins on the bike to get pretty much anywhere - couple of minutes walk from the beach and Rabbit Jump beach club - their bikes are weirdly easy to ride around, do rent it there - mosquito net in the tent as well as fan and an a/c (although we didn't need it) - sound silly but it is super useful that they put a whole massive water bottle in the bathroom - great shower, super clean, they provide beach towels - it is the overall attention to detail - breakfast is yummy and they will accommodate early one if you are having a trip to go to - they can help you have your laundry done today for tomorrow Now the people: - everyone has been above and beyond kind, attentive and helpful - I want to complement Maliki in particular. He advised on all the best spots, helped us book a boat to our next destination and the snorkeling trip as well. He really made sure we are well taken care of and dedicated time to walk us through the map. - Shout out also to all the boys in the kitchen and at the bar, they were lovely.

***a tip for the people visiting: At this time of year (August) even if you want to beat the crowds for snorkeling, it is going to be tough. We went at 7am private tour and there were already many boats around. If you can be there with the sunrise, it may be better but it is fierce at the moment. When you leave the island, we were not told we had to pay the harbor tax. Make sure to queue up for your boat and do that on time. It is true you should be there about an hour ahead. Check out the evening open air cinema close by, it is a nice experience!

La Cocoteraie was a wonderful stay and was our favourite accommodation when we visited Bali & Lombok. The real standout part of this glamping site is the staff, they are honestly so friendly and helpful we couldn't have asked for better hosts. The tent itself was perfect and the gardens are beautiful. We were initially worried about bugs and being too hot, but the tent is well protected with fly nets and the aircon is completely sufficient for cooling down the room. It was also very quiet and you don't really hear too much noise from the Mosque which was great for a light sleeper like myself. The included breakfast was delicious and very generous compared to other places we've stayed.

The only thing to note is if you are planning to walk (instead of taking horse and cart, which we didn't because we don't like the treatment of the horses on the island), it is around 30 minutes and can be a bit challenging with bags in the heat of the day. However, this didn't impact our enjoyment of the trip in any way!
