Wonderful hotel; an excellent location with beautiful views over the sea and friendly and attentive staff. Such a charming place, a real taste of Portugal at the luxurious end of the scale. We had a small team of people, 4 rooms, and everyone raved about how lovely it was.

The only little comment I have is that on a previous visit for dinner (a few weeks before we booked our team in to stay at the hotel) there were some teething problems with the kitchen, but this was just after the hotel opened for the first time, so I'm sure they have sorted it out by now.

Staff was always friendly, the house has an interesting decoration in a classical/baroque style and the breakfast terrace has a great ocean view.

The attic room was ok but we considered it absurdly overpriced. The windows are ground-level, the sloped ceiling makes it feel smaller than it is, and the worst was that we could hear the people in a neighboring room (coughing, speaking and laughing). For a room at over 300€ at night, this is absolutely unacceptable.

Staying at Estoril Vintage wasn't our typical hotel experience. It earns its 5 stars for good reason. What set this beautiful historic property apart for us was the unparalleled service we received. The staff didn't just meet our expectations; they exceeded them, making sure every aspect of our stay was covered with a level of care and attention that's rare to find. Their dedication made our experience exclusive and personal. And if you're looking for something different, Estoril Vintage is certainly that - just look at the photos in the listing. The place is full of art, classic furnishings, Portuguese tile... It has the feel of a comfortable, welcoming museum where you can touch things :) We recommend this property for those seeking a special, unique and top-tier stay.

From the moment we entered the property until the moment we left, our experience at Estoril Vintage Hotel was outstanding. It is a stunning property. We booked room #33, which was advertised as a "Small double room." In actuality it was a spacious, beautiful, comfortable bedroom with a large, well-appointed bathroom. The view from our window was of the gorgeous pool area. We enjoyed the extensive and delicious breakfast buffet sitting on the terrace everyday. Dinners in the spectacular dining room were also memorable with excellent food and service. The owner, Maria, oversees everything to ensure that the service is top-notch and that the needs and wants of the guests are paramount. The staff, without exception, are lovely and genuine. We really enjoyed the stroll along the water into Cascais for dinner one night. This exceptional hotel was our favorite throughout our 3 weeks in Portugal. I cannot recommend it enough.

This is the most beautiful hotel I have stayed at. The design and details are just amazing. The hotel is located on a quiet street, overlooking the ocean. I had a small double but the room was a very good size. The breakfast was delicious and cocktails in the bar amazing. The staff is very friendly and made me feel like I am at home. I will come back to this hotel as I had an incredible stay!

As a female solo traveller I felt absolutely safe and cared for. No ask was too much and I had no safety concerns which is a really nice way to feel while travelling. I also worked whilst here and I could get wifi everywhere (even by the pool!) The staff were phenomenal The building is truly beautiful You are treated like royalty as soon as you walk in. Easy walk into the town and right opposite a few beach bars.

Wow, what an amazing experience! We'd go back just to stay here again. We stayed in the smallest room on the property and it was still fantastic! It even had a great view of the pool area and ocean. The bed/pillows were comfy. The staff here was so attentive and really just superb. The breakfast was top notch and a highlight of the stay. We also ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant and we're blown away with how fantastic the food was. Drinks from the bar were great as well. The outdoor seating options are plentiful and offer some gorgeous views of the area/ocean. Short walk to the beach area, and about 10-15 min walk to Cascais where there are a lot of restaurants and shops.

What a stay! Sometimes you don't want to tell your discoveries, to keep it for yourself. But this one needs to be shared. A magic luxery boutique hotel, on the border or Estoril and Cascais. You enter a world of history but with a contempory atmosphere. Staff is excellent and gives you a feeling of being home with kindness, friendly talks and classy suggestions for restaurants and visits. Also the restaurant in the hotel where breakfast, lunch and diner is served is Michelin worthy.

The most beautiful property, inside and out. Fantastic location/view. Pleasant, easy walk into Cascais. Staff were amazing from start to finish. Made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. Really nice, friendly owner. Breakfast was delicious. Quality over quantity. Great coffee. Room sumptuous and well equipped - robe/slippers, tea/coffee/biscuits, water etc. Very comfy bed and the best shower, ever!! Lovely, tranquil pool area and no problem getting a sun lounger. This hotel exceeded expectations. We will be back!

We would have preferred our room to be a couple of degrees cooler (AC centrally controlled) But that’s just our preference, and wasn’t a real issue! Entrance to property could be more clearly marked?
