Modern room with gorgeous brass and gold but when you step out into the neighborhood it feels intimate, Old New Englandy and peaceful. So many bunnies around, fresh lavender bushes, minutes walk from every shop and restaurant in Portsmouth. Doug was incredibly open for communication and the room was stocked with extremely fair priced amenities- never seen a bar so fairly priced (had I known I would not have brought my own liquor). They had a white noise machine and Doug made it clear any after hours noise was prohibited since it was a residential area. I needed the quiet coming from NYC so that was really nice. Check in and out was easy, felt like a really high end rental. Will recommend to everyone.

My wife and i had a great time walk down town. the Inn was in a good location. the studio room was nice and clean. the inn was more then we expected. wished we had stayed more the one night but i will be tell all my friends that this is the place to stay. so much better than a Motel or Hotel.

nothing bad to say about the inn or portsmouth just wished on are end that we wished we would have had better plans to what we were going to do.

The Inn was a lovely and cozy studio apartment very well decorated in a quiet and quaint historical location. This was my favorite place during all of my New England travels. I would definitely come back see again.

We could not access local television channels .

Our experience of Portsmouth started with our temp stay that was exceptional and quite comfy. First, to stay at a home with condo/apts as a choice is fantastic and price was right in the budget. Looking forward to another stay soon!

The stairs so I will definitely inquire about one of the separate entrance apts.

A gorgeous property in a perfect location in Portsmouth! we had such a wonderful time here. Everything in the room was perfect (down to the soaps) and super clean.

The check out time is a bit early (10am) and it would be great to have another hour to enjoy the property (and very comfy bed).

Location and comfort

Check-in was really late - 4:00 pm. We had to pay an extra $50.00 to get access earlier. They also added a $29.00 cleaning fee. The costs ended up being far higher than expected, particularly during the winter when rates are usually lower. There was ice in the archway. Fortunately, we didn’t fall but it was quite slippery. There were no staff around. It felt more like air B&B than an an inn.

Rooms were very spacious, area was both nice and very clean, great location right in downtown.

There were a few fees (cleaning fee, parking fee) we weren’t aware of until after we booked. Overall, the price was good, but it was more than we expected.

This was an awesome place to stay, by far our favorite on our weeklong trip in a different place every night. Great place to unwind after a day of checking out the area. Very relaxing, comfortable studio.

The location was absolutely perfect. Both Doug and Abby were extremely responsive and helpful. Loved the provided toiletries. All the snacks and drinks available were such a beautiful touch.

Their cancelation policy is hard core. Don't book if you don't absolutely know.for.sure you're going. Sink and tub a little bit slow to drain, but that's just me hunting now for something petty.

It felt like a small little vintage town in a crowded city like atmosphere. So very quaint.

The pictures on booking.com showed and listed a stove, which the apartment did not have.
