Absolutely PERFECT. The best booking we ever had. The property is situated just 8 minutes’ drive from Plitvice Lakes entrance 2 and 10 minutes from entrance 1. The location and landscape is amazing with free parking space. The rooms are super clean and spacious, which can accommodate up to 3 people. Very nice design and beautiful traditional forest house in the inland Croatia. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of choices with fresh and tasty ingredients. We recommend visiting. The staff is wonderful and happy to help you and fulfill your queries. Thank you very much for our stay. Looking forward to visit again soon.

What a find… this property really over delivers. We were uncertain we were at the right location until we entered the property, looking for reception. But the whole place sparkles having been completed fairly recently. It is a tribute to the family’s construction skills - the tiling and woodwork throughout the property are impressive, there are bespoke touches everywhere. In the dining room, no 2 pieces of furniture are the same. The light fittings similarly unique. Everything has been brilliantly handcrafted. Our room was large, with an immaculate bathroom again reflecting tremendous skill in wall and floor tiling. The food and wines were of a high standard… in fact it’s been a long while since I’ve had a whole trout so well cooked and presented as the plate I received here. Breakfast was also a very pleasant experience. There is a very nice outdoor area under development… it will be great when the plants are mature. The staff are very polite and welcoming, eager to please.

This is not the fault of the property but our car navigation could not locate the exact address. It did successfully locate the property next door and the staff there were quick to explain where we had to go. A partly constructed new building on the Rustic Inn site added a little to our uncertainty but our subsequent experiences more than made up for that. (It is after all described as rustic…) Again, this will be a great little property by the time the owners have finished developing it.

We stayed at the Rustica Inn the night before we visited Plitvice Lakes National Park. The Inn was just off the road (so a little road noise) and very easy to find. The Inn was filled with rustic, hand-made wooden furniture (tables, chairs, and lights) and had a rustic mountain feel. Daniel was wonderful...he helped us check in, showed us around, and even prepared our evening meal (fresh trout and chicken with soup, salad, sides, and dessert) and breakfast. Since we arrived late in the afternoon, we sat outside at the picnic tables and enjoyed a bottle of wine and some snacks while watching the sun set. Everything was very clean and the shower had great water pressure.

Very stylish, beautiful and spacious rooms and bathroom. Well equipped and clean accomodation with easy, nice and friendly owners. We would highly recommend - just 4 kms away from Entrance 2. of Plitvicka lakes. Coffee is super, you can use the "restaurant" /breakfast room in the evening to play cards, chat or drink with your friends. There are good restaurants nearby ( within 10 minutes drive ) on site you can order breakfast only and there is shopping center with a huge TOMMY maxi market approx 7-8 minutes drive away.

There is construction going on, They are building/adding addtional apartments to the current ones to grow capacity thus the site is not so nice in this semifinished state.

We loved the hospitality and thoughtfulness of our host. Great breakfast to start the day was more than worth the extra charge. This is our second time staying at Rustic River and the experience, facilities and host were fabulous. The host was very helpful in suggesting great area restaurants, helped us with our schedule by providing an early (and delicious) breakfast each day before we headed out to Plitvice. Truly a great stay hosted by a great staff.

The location is 5 minutes from the 2nd entrance to Plitvice Park. My room was beautiful. Very modern and clean. Despite the name Rustic, the building is new. I enjoyed sitting outside in the quiet of the countryside. I was there for 2 nights and enjoyed a 4 course delicious dinner of fresh trout and roasted vegetables, soup and salad and dessert.

Our family loved our stay at the Rustic Inn River - large, clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms, delicious breakfast buffet, proximity to Plitvice Lakes National Park, helpful and friendly staff, and more (i.e., cute dog!). Our family has several vegetarian members, and although not part of their usual offerings, they put together a very delicious dinner for us at short notice.

Everything was great, nice hosts, very nice rooms, cozy and warm beds, great location for entry to Plitvice and an affordable dinner/breakfast option. We DEFINITELY advise to eat dinner here: at our time of stay 23€ for soup, salad, main course (1 of 3 choices) and dessert

The room and the location. Close to Plitvice Nathional Park. We had a car. Kowsy room downstairs to have breakfast and dinner. Thw outside is also very nice and there is a super happy dog and some kittens :)
