Superb welcome, I have a spot for cats especially one that looks like my late tabby, saw it first ,Jeffa and we made friends,,, The room was exceptional, the surrounds including the lake were seriously comforting, especially since I was only there for the night and going to a beloved family member funeral... the grounds are lush and gorgeous and I got to go all around. I look forward to booking again for atleast a week. All the staff were lovely.

Only thing is that I am a smoker, there were no signs in the room saying you cannot smoke, I was afraid to light up incase the smoke alarm went on. But I was happy I was in the ground floor so I had easy access to the front door to go outside and smoke,

Our rooms were amazing so clean and very comfortable, had we have known we could camp we would have bought our tents. Next time.e I will be bringing my lil family camping because what an amazing quiet place. The gentleman who booked us in? Amazing 👏 an absolute treasure. Thanku so much far all your help and for helping my brother with our rooms being changed. Definitely a place to come back to. Absolutely magical, thanku so much for having us all.

We loved every minute of being there and everything was more than plentiful. Thanku all again for a wonderful stay. Next time we will be camping. Can't wait.

The staff was pleasant and helpful, the room was comfortable and the bathroom very nice. Ample tea and coffee making facilities and cutlery and crockery was there to use. There was a fridge in the room and a microwave was available to use. There were tables in the garden area should you choose to eat outside.

There was no sink in the room which meant if you needed to fill a kettle or wash your hands etc you had to go to the private bathroom which was nearby. Location was remote and you would need a car to get about.

Stayed overnight as attending a wedding and suited our needs, welcome was warm and friendly and very attentive. Breakfast was amazing and the room excellent, would recommend.

There’s not really anything that we didn’t like, although wasn’t a problem but the bathroom was separate from the room we stayed in. Luckily the other rooms were occupied by other family members so wasn’t an issue. Maybe different if it was other people staying there and could be uncomfortable for some. But as explained wasn’t an issue for us.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Forwinds in March and I can confidently say it was a good experience! The check-in process was smooth and making me feel right at home. The team took care of our satisfaction in advance and informed us , for example , about the regular pizza evening on Fridays. The rooms we had were beautifully decorated and clean. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or a weekend trip.

Really good use of the space. Well equipped with quality fixtures and fittings and very clean. We really like the use of a vintage dresser as a stand for the bathroom sink. Nice location with a river walk close by to exercise the dog. Plentiful parking. The breakfast was excellent too. We highly recommend the Fourwinds apartment.

The room design is beautiful and excellent value for money. If you are lucky enough to be there on a Friday, there is an opportunity to order pizza. Unfortunately we left early so we didn't have a chance to try the breakfast. This place is excellent if you don't drive and it's only 5 mins in a taxi from the station

This is just personal preference but I prefer a more firm mattress.

The full English breakfast was delicious. It was delivered to the room on time and was hot. There was a fridge outside the room where we could put our water bottles and where we could get milk for our drinks. The room had big windows overlooking the campsite and grounds. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms had everything we needed for our four night stay. I would highly recommend this establishment which has some B and B rooms, spaces for tents and camper vans. It backs onto the river and you can hire kayaks. I believe some campers had brought their own SUPS that they took down to the river. There was a sturdy metal fence with secure entrance leading to the river bank.

Noise from person above at night (think they were above?) Not really a massive issue but a kids full English would be good and the sourdough toast was a bit too crunchy for my toddler so just a standard bread option for little ones would be super :)

Lovely wooden mobile home which of course isn't as comfortable as a large hotel(room), but we loved it: There was everything you needed (small kitchen, toilet, shower) and we had a wonderful time. The host was lovely and the location great.

Like I said: because it is a small mobile hove it isn't as comfortable as a 'normal' stay, but we were aware and that was for us even part of the fun!
