The concept of the rooms is simple and original: bottles of wine on the wall and as main lamp add a little something to the room. The decoration was nice, and everything was meant to be practical. They have made the most of the space and it gave as a result an impression of a lot of space. I just spent 2 nights there but I really have no complaints about my stay. Location is excellent as it is facing the train station and is only a few minutes walk to the centre of town. Parking was easy also. The staff was very helpful and very welcoming. Really, it is a good hotel to go to.

We loved the look and feel of the restaurant and reception area - the hotel is very clean and modern with a very warming atmosphere. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. It's in a very useful location with a short walk into the old town for access to the Christmas trail and markets. We especially liked the Nespresso machine in our room, a nice upgrade from the standard instant coffee you'd get elsewhere. The little balcony outside our room was charming but the weather wasn't good enough to make use of it unfortunately.

We were expecting much better wine theming in our room as that's what the hotel boasts most, but ours was unfortunately very plain with only a few pictures on the wall and not much else wine related. We would have also liked to have tried some of the wines at the bar but we must have got back a little late from the town in the evening, because although there were people dining in the restaurant, we waited around 10 mins downstairs in the bar area and didn't see any staff so we ended up going to our room missing out on what was going to be a highlight of the stay. We parked on site for the night but we felt the parking charge was a bit expensive.

Staff were friendly and spoke German or English. Family room was a good size with a separate room for the second double bed. Nice welcome boxes with coffee, tea etc., Nespresso machine in the room. Breakfast was good.

The light in our shower kept flickering. We asked for it to be looked at but it was not fixed during our short stay. Instead there was a battery-powered light, which was a bit too dark. Breakfast room offered no vegy-milk or spreads.

Nice hotel straight across from the train station. Few minutes walk into the centre. Has a bar downstairs. Ideal for visiting the Christmas Markes. We stayed on a Monday night just before Christmas. We found it good value for the money we spent. €150 for 2 rooms.

We checked the price for the Saturday and it was over €400 a room. Wouldn't be worth it at that price.

This is our second visit. Compared to other hotels in the area they rooms are quite roomy. The hotel attendants were very nice, they let us check in early and helped coordinate a flower delivery for my girlfriend while I was out.

Its not located in the main city center, but the walk is not that far and you can be there in 5 to 10 minutes. It was a bit on the expensive side but I think its because the bike race made for a busy weekend.

The staff are fantastic. They go the extra mile and then some. The rooms are recently refurbished and have everything you could desire including a balcony and all the modern charging points. As an extra each room is dedicated to a vineyard with lots of pictures and information. You can then sample that wine downstairs with the added bonus of a truly superb restaurant within the hotel. This hotel is great. If you love your wines then this hotel becomes something extra special.

It was a nice place, there is a nice restaurant of course, its a wine bar after all. They let us bring our bikes in the roomas long as we had our bike covers. The rooms were very quiet and clean. Room even had a simple sauna and had a reasonable price. It was easy access for our cycling holiday around Valkenburg.

My only complaint is that we were in one of the suites next to the main building and the toilet was not in a separate room from the main bed area so there was not much privacy when going to the toilet.

A very nice and clean hotel to begin with. Great staff, very friendly, a very nice and unique setting as well as the story behind the different rooms inspired by wine makers. They also have a very nice wine cellar. The rooms itself have all the necessary needs. The right size, good coffee, great rainshower, clean toilet, a good-size TV with built-in chromecast. And all this on walking distance from the city-center.

We can only comment on the electrical heating system in our room which had troubles heating up the room. It was quite cold in the room. But other than that, our stay was excellent.

The room was really nice, decorated according to a specific wine. As a matter of fact we were in a different room initially, but because there was an issue with the shower light, the hotel was flexible to offer us a different room with no extra charge.

The beds were nice overall, comfy enough, but the pillows were too soft, at least for our tasting.

The staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. They even offered us a secure area for our bicycles. The bed was comfortable, and the room's temperature could be adjusted. The breakfast options were diverse and served in a beautifully designed restaurant area.

The TV frequently turned off, but after some adjustments in the settings, we successfully got it to work using internal Chromecast.
