Room was comfortable and roomy. Bed was comfortable and room had good food preparation area (microwave, toaster, kettle and sink). Bathroom was well laid out and reasonable size. Entry was via a code, staff communication on the app was very good (no staff on site)

Shower pressure was ok but not great with a traditional shower, parking was tight with lots of larger trade vehicles and slope. Location is away from shops, needing a car to get to food and shopping. Cleaner forgot to include a spare toilet roll, staff responding on the app were good about the feedback.

The email communication from the owner was outstanding. The beds and pillows were clean and very comfortable. The shower had immediate hot water. This was a quiet motel ( which I loved ) with a great view of the ocean. Kitchen facilities were spot on, TV had good reception and I felt safe as a solo lady traveller.

It was strange to be in a property with no one at reception. When the kettle in my room did not work, I had to wait for the cleaner the next day to rectify. The guest book said to collect pool towels from reception. Bit hard if no one is there.

Yes very clean, bed med to firm, room basic to be whats expected not always that keen on brick wall rooms but it was nice and i asked for preference room with the best view of ocean i reckon i got it room 10 . very pleasing.

Nothing i didn't like , for a motel quite a bit further away from the ocean than thought , it made it up by having a view of everything. Booking .com before i came ofereed a upgrade room But i dont see it would of been a upgrade as such as it would of meant not having the view i had. Just maybe some more info in folers in room

Having stayed here before just after the last massive bushfires hit, I was excited to come back to Merimbula but this time with my partner. I am happy to say that it's still the same great setup as before. The room has everything you need, the heating is great, the bed is very comfortable and the shower works really well. The housekeeper did a great job servicing our room and the online check-in and check-out process is a breeze. We loved the location and the wonderful ocean view from the balcony. There is ample parking and it is great value for money. If we are ever back in Merimbula we will definitely stay here again.

Very clean, comfortable, I loved the art work in our room so pretty. Very unusual for us having no one in the office for check in and out and we were the only guests in the whole building, for the whole weekend, very quiet!!! Lovely!!!! We didn't see a soul. But some lovely person came in and replaced our tea and bikkies and made our bed!!! Nice! We have stayed with Ocean View Motor Inn a few times and it always has been lovely.

The products used in the bathroom was one of my favourite.

The pillows were too hard and there was only one person. Our room was No 6 located right under the stair case, didn’t feel comfortable opening our curtains as you can see straight in. Also the outside seating was not appropriate when other guests going up and down.

Need better parking. Parking spots are too tight for an SUV. Also, the reception building is a two level apartment block with one parking spot for each unit on the ground level. Which, means you may find that someone from the first floor parking in your spot if you arrived late which happened to us on our second night 🤦

We found our room a little nostalgic, older style decor, but very clean, great kitchen area with microwave, toaster, kettle with tea making facilities and a small under counter fridge. Even had a steam iron and small ironing board. Room was serviced over our two night stay. Close to the shops.

Excellent location. All basics things provided. Room had AC, fan, lights, bed curtains, cupboards, refrigerator, microwave, TV, toiletry, extra blankets, hair drier, iron, kettle, tea, coffee, biscuts, spoons, glasses, washing soap, sponge etc

Washbasin was crumpled into small space. Cannot even wash hands properly. Bathroom need to be bit bigger

My biggest concern when I stay at a Motel is cleanliness, Ocean View ticked all the boxes for me. The manager was very friendly, and it was no trouble to him for us to stay another night. I really like the fact that there was no noise from other rooms. Thank you I will be back one for a longer stay.

If I had anything to say I didn't like, it would be the taps in bathroom, that is a minor issue, being from the country and having to save every drop of water, it bothered me that the taps dripped. But really is that worth mentioning, probably not.
