Great location, really close to the Peggy Guggenheim museum, and also to several boat options. You can go to SALUTE and take the No 1 Vaporetto straight across to St Marco for the Doge’s palace, etc, or…spend 2 euros per person for a gondola trip across further along opposite the Basilica. Or, go down towards Zattere for the 5.2 Vaporetto to the station (FERROVIA) We stayed in the suite….please note…get assistance with baggage if you can because there are 3 delightful, but tricky, flights of stairs to navigate! Very good continental breakfast, with GF on request.

A great B&B in a very quiet part of the city. The hosts were great, who helped us check in easily and gave us information about local restaurants etc. Excellent buffet breakfast with a wide celection of cereals, bread, fruit, meat and cheese, pastries, yoghurt etc. The room was clean and spacious with a modern bathroom and very comfortable bed, which was made up every day. After checkout we were able to store our suitcase in the B&B to collect later. The location was 5 minutes from the €2 Gondola across to Piazza San Marco, about a 10 minute walk to the Zattere stop for the waterbus and 15 minute walk to the Ponte dell'Accademia Bridge. We thought it would be too far from the main attractions but it was perfect and we got to see a lot of the "real" venice on our way to the main areas.

There's not much bad to say. The bed was a little short as I am a tall man and the shower was very slippery but it wasn't really a problem.

Absolutely beautufil tradition accommodation. Exceptionally clean, with very helpful owner/management to give great ideas and tips. The bathroom was very modern with huge shower, toilet, bidet and sink. The main bedroom with tea/coffee facilities, tv and very comfortable bed with plenty if storage too. The area is very quite, but also very close to restaurants and bars as well as the very beautiful canals. The continental breakfast is amazing, full of fresh produce every morning.

So for the older person, there is two flights of stairs, fine for us, but beaware. Check out time is 10.30, but there is bag storage facility too. Tv had only two channels, all in Italian, just pointing it out in case you have children with you.

Everything! VERY VERY CLEAN Traditional interior, breakfast was just what you needed and coffee was perfect! Location is away from the busy tourist traps. Easy reach to the €2 ride across the camel which take you to all the attractions. We enjoyed walking along the canal which was less busy, and then crossing the main bridge over. You definitely need your walking shoes, and travelling light is key (wheeled cases are a pain) staff were friendly, lots of good restaurants recommended that we tried and loved! Beds were comfy, room was perfect for a base. If you want to really feel in a traditional Venice home this is it! SUPPORT LOCAL! Loved the personal touch of our name on the door. (Room three was our room)

It’s want a problem for us, but I saw people mention the steps, they are old and step, but only two flights, I personally loved the traditional quirkiness of the stairs, which showed the age of the building.

Room was very comfortable; air conditioning worked very well and was very quiet indeed. Breakfast was very good; buffet style but lots of choice and comfortable setting. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. Location is across the canal from the main San Marco side of Venice but still so close and well within walking distance. We preferred this quieter part of town.

All was good, but if I was being picky - a fridge in the room would have been nice. Tea and coffee facilities in room are provided, but our milks were not replenished on our second day of our two day stay.

Wonderful b&b in a very quiet and characteristic of Venice, refreshingly empty of tourists; the building overlooks a long square open onto the sea on one side and with trees in the middle—a rarity in Venice. It’s a historic traditional home that has been recently renovated with all comforts while retaining the historic aspects. Very comfortable room with good air conditioning, clean bathroom with very nice shower, great breakfast with fresh croissants and bread even on a Sunday. Very responsive and responsible owner, who gave us great recommendation for an excellent restaurant for dinner. Only caveat—there are old stairs to reach the rooms, so if that’s not for you, choose something else rather than being disappointed. But if that’s not a consideration, it’s an excellent place to stay! We will be back.

Everything was great!

Located in a quiet area of Venice yet a quick hop over the Grand Canal on a Traghetto to reach all the main tourist attractions. The room was clean and well equipped. Lots of choice for breakfast. The host provided us with lots of information and tips with regards to restaurants and trips. We had to leave early to catch our flight so she provided us with a breakfast bag to take with us to the airport. Very thoughtful.

We had an amazing weekend here 31st March, such a beautiful building, it was like stepping back in time We loved the location, so peaceful, we walked everywhere but easy access to zattere stop. The owners clearly have great pride in their property and we're very helpful in suggesting restaurants and telling us about the history of the building. We loved the breakfast, a superb choice of cereals, fruit, delicious pastries, cheese, hams, breads. The apricot jam was my favourite. If your looking to stay in a beautiful place in the most authentic part of Venice then look no further. We will definitely be back one day.

Probably unavoidable in Venice but a bit of an unpleasant smell coming from the shower tray.

The biggest advantage is definitely the location close to Zattere stop and all main points of interest. Very nice authentic Venice style and atmosphere building. Decent breakfast with boiled eggs, vegetables, fruits, waffles, croissants and great coffee! Nice mattress - slept very well. Hosts were very welcome and provided all instructions how to reach the place, self check-in, leave the luggage for some time after check-out also given tips for exploring Venice in a short timeframe. Considering Venice level of prices, would recommend as value for money for a short 2-3 night stay.

To the biggest surprise, kitchen is closed and there is nobody to assist you in place after the mid day. We have bought bottle of wine to taste in the evening and failed to get wine opener and glasses two days in a row. So we just had to leave it. I believe it would be nice to get access to kitchen equipment to enjoy some drinks in cozy common area in the evening. Broken cup with no handle in a room. Cold floor - slippers would have been nice after shower. Room windows to other buiding board up windows.

What a beautiful place to stay. The B&B is traditional and to a high standard. The room was comfortable, the continental breakfast was lovely, the location is perfect, on a quiet street just outside the busy city but not far away from anything. The host was so helpful with advice on local transport, how to get to places, restaurants to visit and very thoughtful in going out of her way to get us gluten free products for breakfast, which was much appreciated!

Air Conditioning didn't seem to work very well so the room got very hot during the night.
