A typical modest Venetian hotel, clean and comfortable, in a quiet spot, easy to find; staff nice and helpful. After reading bad reviews on booking.com I became a bit afraid, but the stay was equal to other modest Venetian hotels. Also typical are the facts that the bathroom is small and funny thing with air conditioning (no remote control, you have to call the concierge to change it); the last one not matter because I was there in July and it was steaming hot, so in the end I was grateful that the AC was working all the time. The staff seems to be reading the reviews -- they tried to fix everything that guests complained about.

Having a remote control for the air conditioning would be nice. The wifi was erratic, sometimes it was working fine, sometimes too slow.

The bathrooms were a bit small, that was a minor issue compared to the overall excellent experience we had.

Hotel is situated in the nice and quiet area. The Fondamental Salute is 2 min away and you can enjoy to the magnificent view to the San Marco square, Small Venice and the lagoon. Rialto bridge and SM square are 15 min walking distance away. Also, there is a vapporeto stop that can be used easy to reach all Venice attractions and Lido island. The hotel itself offers clean and enough spacious rooms and restaurant with wonderful garden. English speaking staff ready to help. Toiletries were provided in the room.

The location is the best.. Also, the 20% discount to eat at their restaurant is a great thing to have 🙃

I just think the breakfast could be better.. I mean, there were only cold boiled eggs, cheese and ham, and the bakery (which was limited to croissants, and some other small stuff that I didn't try). Also, there's coffee there but is terrible. So in my last day I've discovered that you can order coffees the are made at the coffee machine, but no one told me that 😅

Pet friendly, good location, easy transport and friendly staff. Really well trained receptionists, easy to leave luggage after checkout and wonderful with pets. Wifi was working and everything was great! Food at the restaurant was super yummy too!

The rooms are a little outdated and old, but, for the price, that's okay. It was dog friendly which was our most important thing, location was great too.

The location is on the main island, around 30 minutes walking from the central station. The personnel was very nice, initially we had a 2 separate beds room, but they offered us a big bed room without extra charges.

The room was quite old, ceiling looks quite damaged in that specific room, also opaque curtains were missing the window had normal transparent curtains, a bit of privacy can be improved.

I recently stayed at Hotel Messner and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and cleanliness of the rooms. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, and the rooms were immaculate, making my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a combination of excellent service and pristine accommodations.

Being stuck in a bathroom and needing 5 firemen to rescue me in the middle of the night. No. Rooms need a re-furb.

The canal view of our room was quite nice! Comfortable room overall.

There was no heating system in the room, which was only a problem because we were soaked from the rain and cold. Probably not an issue in the summer during peak tourist season.

I like the location, there is shops, restaurants and the boat stations very close to the hotel. Breakfast and the food was good. Staff was very friendly.
